just perfectPosted Oct 8, 2012
We stayed here for two nights, and the stay was really comfortable. Beautiful view over Agropoli city and the sea. The room was perfectly clean, and a really good and quiet atmosphere. The best service. So romantic!! We will definitely be back.

Loved all aspects of our stay. Hospitality was second to none and accommodation was outstanding. Views to die for with a delicious breakfast. Love to go back for longer stay. Just a little hard to find but owner came to fetch us which was great.

Country hotelPosted Mar 31, 2012 on Hotels.com
This small hotel is sitting in the hills and fields above Agropoli. Directions to it from the SS18 are clear, but otherwise it could be hard to find 3 kilometers up into the countryside. We were there for one night ahead of the regular season, so the restaurant was closed, and we were the only guests. In season it would obviously be livelier. We had a very nice corner room with a tiny balcony looking to the Mediterranean in one direction and hill country in the other. Host recommended a restaurant at the bottom of the hill (Il Ceppo) which was excellent. Asked for breakfast at 7:30; finally got a classic continental breakfast (small bottle of pear nectar, cornetto, rolls, butter, jam, coffee) by about 8:00.

It was a very fine hotel and we were very satified with the survice in spite of the only one night of staying. We can surely reccommend the hotel to everrybody.

Outskirts of AgropoliPosted Sep 10, 2011
We had a 2 night stay in La Civetta on our travels down through Italy. The owners are incredibly friendly - cooking a very lavish breakfast for us and telephoning an organic mozzarella farm to organise a tour with an English speaker for us. Definitely a 5/5 for friendliness. The only downside was the location which was a bit too far up a hill on the outskirts of Agropoli. Having said that - it was a good base for heading into town and for getting to Paestum ... and it was very quiet at night!

Beautiful ViewsPosted Aug 14, 2010
The hotel was beautiful, the service was excellent, the staff was very friendly, and the views off the side of the mountain overlooking the town and sea were gorgeous. You need a rental car to stay here, but it is completely worth it. We loved staying here.
