“Lovely hotel, car necessary”

Paestum does not have taxi service, and the hotel is located more than a mile from the station and the ruins. A lovely place to stay if you arrive by car---the pool is a delight, the restaurant quite good. The beach is a brief walk from the front of the hotel---passably nice, padded chairs with umbrellas are pleasant. A little glitzy for such a sleepy town but very comfortable and well maintained.

“Perfect honeymoon,”

We in our 50-60's enjoying our honeymoon. This place was above average, superb even in the off season. Best part is the breakfast and the manager was so great with attention to detail. The owner was even on property and easily assecessable. This was a 5 star experience.
