This was not my favorite 21C. Considering the focus on art I would think that more thought would have been put into the design of my room. I opened the door to see a long cord attach to a mini fridge right in front of me. There was also a musty smell like the room hadn’t been used in a long time. The bed had some kind of plastic liner that made noise when you turned in your sleep. The hotel is in a great location if you want to go to the games or walk over to Covington.

When Expedia said there was parking included, it did not make it clear that it was valet only, my boyfriend and I drove around in circles drying to find parking for a very long time and called the property multiple times trying to figure out how to park. There was no sign for the valet and we ended up having to park blocks away in a parking garage and had to pay a fee, which was extremely frustrating. The property was beautiful, clean, and unique! Front desk was kind but did not offer anything for the poor staff to our guest experience. Had parking been explained and had we been able to actually do the valet vs park so far away and have to pay the same regardless, it would have been a better experience. As someone who has been in the hospitality industry for years, and who is a manager myself, paying what I paid for this hotel room was a little disappointing considering the circumstances.

What an extra-ordinary concept. A museum or rather a method to highlight and bring exposure local artists who are doing wonderful work and should be appreciated by tourists and guests. Hotel rooms are well designed and considerate of guest. Love Love this place!

Property use to be much better. Rooms definitely need a refreshed and or coat of paint. My shower and sink were both leaky. Staff always great and the room was quiet.

I had a reservation number and itinerary number and they could not find my name anywhere in the system. I don’t know how this can happen since I received 3 confirmation emails. They did end up giving me a room but it took 25 minutes

It’s a little tired
Hotel has aged in the past few years since I was last there. It’s tired. My room was not well kept — shower door didn’t close properly, light in the bathroom didn’t turn on. The hvac in my room didn’t work during a weekend when it was 5 degrees outside. I notified the front desk, but they didn’t seem bothered by it.

Amazing customer service. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. The room was clean and spacious. My only complaint is the walls are a bit thin and the people in the room next door were extremely loud most of the night.

Professional staff. From the valet to the front desk gentlemen - superb and efficient service. Guest services, room service and check out were awesome. We’ve stayed at major branded full service hotels, and we cannot say the same about the professionalism of the staff at those brands. The art on the first two floors are well curated. The room was perfect.
