“Needs an upgrade but nice place to stay for money.”
This place was a great value. It was right off the expressway on an exit that had EVERYTHING! The hotel is very old and does need an upgrade. The front doors say HH on them, when we signed into the wireless it was under Lexington Hotel, and I called the Jimmy Johns right across the parking lot to try and get delivery and the guy didnt even know where the Atrium Hotel was so Im not sure what name the hotel actually is. We booked a king room and it was very big, microwave and mini fridge, tv was old, tube, and needed some help to get the channels to say in tune. Housekeeping only came the first morning, nothing organized the second morning so that was dissapointing. Also the pool was full of water but closed and the spa was empty, glad we didnt plan to swim. They offered a continental breakfast but we didnt check it out, the pantry room had alot of microwave meals, pop, and beer.
“Good Experience!”
We didn't started right because I had booked a one-bed-king and they first gave us a double-bed, but they recovered immediately by switching the room to a king-bed in 30 seconds. Room was great, ample and clean, servicing good and quiet, big bathroom with plenty of towels, optimal water pressure in the shower. Internal big atrium with pool is nice, hotel is not super-de-luxe (breakfast is basic, furniture and details are standard) but has everything that is needed and in abundance: a real good deal for what we paid for 2 people including breakfast.
“worst experience ever”
got lost trying to get something to eat for 2 hrs, not a good location. Depended on pool for entertainment for the grandbabies, noone told us it was not working. Checkout lady was very rude, didnt ask me how my stay was, or to even have a good day, the best part of the trip was the gentleman who opened the door for me because no carts were available for my use and I was carrying a pac n play along with the children and our belongings. never stayedin a motel so inconvenient. continental, breakfast was very dissapointing, Seeing I cannot have caffine, not even coffee for me. hmmm absolutely the worse place I have stayed in, and Ive stayed in alot
“Not impressed”
It took two room changes to get something decent to sleep in for my three day stay. The walls and the ceiling in the first room had dried food on them and the carpet was badly stained. The drains in the wash basin and tub in the second room were both clogged up, and since there was no scheduled maintenance person there on Saturday the hotel was forced to get me another room. That room was nothing to rave about, but for the price, I guess I got what I paid for. The surrounding neighborhood was not bad, with a large mall and restaurants located less than a mile away.
“OK for one night”
We should have listened to the recent reviews. The lobby and main area was nice, but the part our room was in was not kept up. There were only two working lights in the room and the one attached to the switch by the door did not provide much additional light. Overall, the room was very dark. The pool was indoors which was disappointing, because we thought it was an outdoor pool. The lot our room overlooked seemed to be for junkyard cars. For safety reasons, we parked by the lobby overnight, but were still a little hesitant because of the lack of parking lot lighting. Another reason we booked this hotel was for the free breakfast. Ultimately, we ended up going out because they had bagels, cereal, and yogurt. Overall, we were extremely disappointed and wished we would have payed attention to the review someone left a few days before we stayed.
“Stay out of tower rooms.”
When I checked in, I walked into a well renovated lobby. We walked through the atrium to get to the tower with my room. This tower appeared to be the part of the property that they forgot to care for. The veneer on all of the doors were off or coming off. It looked horrible!! I'm talking major parts missing, 2 feet long in sections. There was no toilet paper holder, and it was sitting 2 feet away from the sink. Could be a hard reach for some. The windows had water damage in between the panels which made it difficult to see out. The pillows were very well worn and needed replaced. We were disappointed that the pool closed at 10, as we had just arrived and wanted to unwind. If I were to ever come back again, i would go with the rooms in the Atrium, as they are updated.
“Impressed”
This hotel served its purpose, but I was pleasantly surprised to find extra comfort in a suite and pool.
“Worst ever!”
Crack head hotel - don't waste your time or money!
“Atrium”
A terrible hotel
“Good night's stay”
The room was very nice and clean. The free breakfast in AM is a plus! I enjoyed my stay.
