“It was pretty good.”

The mattress was a bit firm for my liking and I woke up several times during the night because of the discomfort.

“College tours”

Bathroom was really small. Barely enough space for the toilet and tub. Sink outside bath room which was fine. Walls were paper thin. The man in the room next to us got up at 6:30am and was talking...most likely at a normal tone but he was easily heard clearly through the walls. There were only 2 bath towels for the room. We didn't realize it until it was too late to order more from housekeeping. Staff was nice, hotel was clean...ok for the value but if there was a Hampton Inn or Marriott Courtyard, I would have preferred to stay there though don't think those are available in that area.

“ok”

Oxford has very few hotels available on football weekends and this was our last option. The Baymont is very basic; however, it seemed to be clean. We were only there long enough to sleep and did not eat at the breakfast the next morning. The beds were ok; however, the air conditioner seemed to quit working during the night. I certainly would never pick this hotel but if it were the only one available I guess we'd stay there again.

“Group stay results”

The indoor pool was unsatisfactory - the water was ice cold and the staff couldn't answer why it was cold or if it could be warmed up at any time during our stay. The room was clean and neat and the extra bed was OK but the extra space needed was small and cramped. The coffe provided in the room was strong but the individual portions is a great idea.

“Less Bang More Buck”

The toilet broke overnight in our room and we could not adjust the air. When I asked the desk clerk about it she said it was pre-set by the fire dept to not be able to use the air conditioner if it was below 60 outside. It was cold out, however, our room was very warm. I did not sleep very well, I like it cold. We paid a high price for an average room, but overall I was satisfied and would return but not for what I paid.

“Over priced for what you get”

For the price charged other hotels in area give more. A/C had to work hard on a day below 80 degrees. Breakfast had little to choose from. TV has no HBO and/or Showtime.

“I was on a non smoking floor that smelled horribly!”

The hotel was not on campus as I had thought. It was off the road and had strange characters hanging out around it. The staff was pleasant enough. The room was on the non smoking floor and wreaked of foul odors from the smoking floor.

“Stay away”

no washcloths, towels in room when checked in. Loud ruckus with customers late at night plus ongoing banging ~4:30 in morning...pipes, elevator, construction workers who knows?
