Great hotel not far from downtown Cincy

Posted Jul 16, 2015
Pros: The staff is very friendly and helpful. Customer service was excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable.
The Crown Plaza in Blue Ash is a great place to stay. It is located conveniently just off I-71 with easy access to the freeway. It's only 15 minutes to downtown Cincinnati. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff is very customer service oriented. There is not much in the way of restaurants around the hotel, but everything is available just an exit away off of I-71. I would recommend the Crown Plaza in Blue Ash to anyone.

It's a nice hotel

Posted Jul 15, 2015
Pros: Location for us was just right. Staff very friendly and accomodating.
Cons: Ventilation in the bathrooms, or perhaps have air freshner spray available to use when one uses the facility.
Location: This hotel is located right off the highway and within driving distance of several local shopping areas, about 10 mins max.
The rooms are clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had breakfast buffet daily which was included in our package, the food was alright (some of the hot items can use some seasoning), there is a variety of cold and muffins fruits etc... The staff is very pleasant!

There are better hotels.

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: Jim and maintenance man.
Cons: Everything.
Location: Location great.
They don't know how to set up their Wi-Fi. Room was dirty. Closed only place to eat to have a private party. Halls smelled. Only 2 elevators in entire hotel. I had to walk all around the hotel to lug my suitcases to my room. Only two nice, friendly people, Jim in the very small eating area and the maintenance man. Will not go back.

Dear Guest, Please accept my apologies for your most recent stay. As with most hotels, depending on the laptop or device, various firewalls can create issues when initially logging on. I will touch base with our night manager to see if we have been having major issues but our management team is usually very helpful to assist with logging in. I apologize if we failed at that. I will also see why you were under the assumption that our restaurant/lounge was closed for a party. With the large amount of meeting space we have, we do not close our restaurant to the public without having other options. I will forward your comments to our entire staff to utilize your experience as a learning tool to improve our communication and to see how we might have failed in this instance. Sincerely, Rich Woodruff Director of Sales Crowne Plaza Blue Ash

Was clean for the most part, but sunflower seeds were in the bottom of the trash can and a hair was on the wall in the shower. Staff was friendly, but called for toothpaste and they said they would deliver it, but it never came.

Bathroom needs a re do

Posted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: Room was large, WiFi worked well.
Cons: Bathroom and exterior key card locks.
Location: Location was convenient to I-71. Nothing much to do in the neighborhood other than Bob Evans or a Subway.
When I arrived had some difficulty getting my key card to open the exterior doors. Had to drive back to registration and have manager let me in and redo the keys. The bathtub was bad. It had been refinished/ painted on the bottom but the paint had crinkled up and there was rust round the drain. Also the bathroom sink was cracked. The dinning room for dinner was a place to eat if you were hungry but not somewhere to go if you were looking for a good meal. The breakfast buffet was good, but I was surprised that on Saturday morning the omelet bar wasn't available

Nice, quiet hotel with excellent staff.

Posted Jun 3, 2015
Pros: The staff and the room was okay. The bed was comfortable.
Cons: The hotel really needs to be renovated to bring it up to the standard it once had many years ago. Isolate the swimming pool area or move it.
Location: Good location...quick access to freeways. Good restaurants within walking distance.
Staff was excellent, bed very comfortable, easy access to the freeways. I thought it was a good value for the price. The décor is dated and the place could use renovation. Having the open swimming pool located within the main center of the hotel was not a good idea in my opinion. However, I would stay there again.
