What a lovely hotel, with large, clean rooms & a friendly, attentive staff. Everything was better than expected.

“Great Hotel near the University of Cincinnati”

We stayed at this hotel because of it's proximity to the University of Cincinnati. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large and well lit. Everything looked clean and in like new condition. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very good and included a nice selection of hot and cold choices. All in all, we were very comfortable. The only negatives would be relative to the location: the view from the room, which was the university's physical plant, and you can't make a left turn from Vine St. onto Martin Luther King Rd.

“Cincinnati”

We enjoyed our stay but had one small glitch. When we got to our room, it smelled of fresh paint, the couch and lamp were misplaced. We thought nothing of it figuring that they must have forgotten to put everything back. However, around 1 am someone attempted to get into the room, knocked on the door and then a phone call. They were never supposed to have assigned the room to anyone. Though no one actually came into the room, it was unnerving to think that the room should have never been assigned and had I not put the silver security latch on, they could have easily entered the room.

“Nice, clean hotel, convenient location”

From Indy, went to Cincy on a Saturday to see a concert at Bogart's, which is just 3 blocks from hotel and the main reason we chose this one. Near the U of Cincy and a nice variety of restaurants and shops within walking distance also. Not sure when it opened but it sure looked and smelled new or possibly recently renovated. Very clean and well maintained from what we saw. Room was very spacious, neat and clean. I was downstairs looking at the hotels little mini mart there, wanted to buy a bag of chips or something to snack on and a kind lady that worked there told me where a convenience store was just a block away where I could get things much cheaper. Thought we paid a little much for the room, maybe the fact U of Cincy had a home basketball game that day maybe drove the price up and they don't have free parking, then again most downtown/urban hotels don't anymore, but overall well worth it since it was close to the place we were going. Will stay there again if I ever go back to Bogart's for another concert, which I probably will someday.

“Hampton Inn Cincy Uptown”

The hotel was very clean and well organized. Every single staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. The General Manager was out and about helping with guests. Even though there were three teen boy soccer teams in the hotel, we had a great stay. I was a little concerned with parking before I got there, but there were no issues at all with space.

The staff was great! Checking in was a breeze. Our room was beautiful and very clean. The staff made the changes we needed due to feather allergy. Recommendations for places to eat were helpful and enthusiastic. We were amazed at the quality and quantity of choices with the breakfast. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel to anyone visiting the area. The only down side, was some of the other guests in our hallway who were rowdy and loud.

“The perfect place for relaxation!”

Perfect location for what we needed. Very friendly and helpful employees. We even had one, very nice, person ask us how our day was going as he was going about his business. The hotel is new and is very comfortable. We will stay there again!
