we've stayed in quite a few holiday inn express. they've always treated us exceptionally but this is by far the best yet. it's the perfect place to end an eventful evening out on the levee. the staff was so genuine and i've never had service like that at any hotel or at any other business. we'll be back!
“Anniversary Getaway”
For a night on the town, this was the perfect reservation. In the mist of restaurants, movie houses and live entertainment, and within walking distance of two major ballparks just across the river. The warm waters of our late night swim in the indoor pool made it that much more special. For families, or just for a little alone time - this is a great spot.

“Nice hotel without paying the "price" for river front hotels over Labor Day Weekend”
My husband wanted to use the gym and the treadmill did not work. We also stayed at a Holiday Inn Express in Hazard, Kentucky in July and he received the same excuse, something about a magnetic piece. The treadmill didn't work there either. The pool water wasn't heated and was cold. The breakfast was really nice for a continental breakfast. I will definitely stay there again.

It was an overall excellent experience but the one area to improve upon would be Breakfast Buffet. It was disappointing and the quality of food was lacking.
