A nice room

Pros: Location/had restaurant
Cons: Eliminate the smoking!
Location: Close to mall and restsurants
Since they allow smoking in some rooms, it seems to permeate ghe hallways and elevators. Also it was very noisy even in early morning hours. Bed was great. Room was nice. Rrstaurant was good but we were the only patrons

Over all very pleased with Holiday Inn Eastgate. Front desk staff was very friendly. Felt safe. Clean room and bathroom. Bed was comfortable.

Much better than we expected - going back!

We were very pleasantly surprised by our stay! This is the nicest Holiday Inn we've ever stayed in . The staff was friendly, rooms very clean, and lobby simply luxurious. The pool and hot tub were very clean and the pool water was actually warm! We are so sick of going to hotels only to find the pool to too cold even think of taking a leisurely swim in. The hotel restaurant menu was extremely limited, and, as such, we only ate in there once for breakfast. We left for dinner. That was kind of a bummer because we were looking forward to just staying in and doing room service one night, but they only had 4 entrees and my husband wasn't excited about any of them. Fortunately, we were surrounded by dozens and dozens of other options!! This Holiday Inn is adjacent to many restaurants and a mall! Pretty much anything you could ever want is just a stone's throw. However, because of the hideous construction going on right now, we did get turned around a lot and it took us 20 minutes to get to the steak house right next door the first time. That's not the hotel's fault, though. I'm sure they are just as frustrated with the construction.

Arrived 9:00 pm. Staff quick & courteous. Room just OK. Needs updating. Got up early. Check out quick but no receipt available since reservation made through a third party. Did not like that. Needed receipt since this was a business trip. Limited number of restaurants nearby.

Wonderful place to stay!

Pros: The lobby has a waterfall and pool with comfortable seating around it; very relaxing after driving and sightseeing all day!
Cons: The hotel is great but hard to access right now due to the road construction around it.
Location: We spent time at the Wright Patterson AFB and Orville & Wilbur Wright Museum in Dayton, 1 hr. away. It's near Cincinnati, no time to go there.
We are into the third week of traveling across the country, driving and staying in a new hotel every night (luggage in, luggage out). This hotel and our room was wonderful!
