Friendly hotel

This hotel was in a decent proximity to everything. Friendly and helpful staff. Bar was relaxing and quiet. I would suggest requesting a room not facing the library as it's loud outside.

Nice place and close to attractions

We got the room based on location. We attended an outdoor concert at the Horseshoe Casino and were able to walk! Very nice city and we had a great time :)

Perfect for me

Posted Aug 28, 2014
Pros: easy access to where I need to be early in the morning.
Cons: it is a little challenging getting from the city parking garage to the hotel, but, I did appreciate the tunnel so I didn't have to back out onto the s
I have meetings in the downtown Cincinnati area and the location is perfect for me. The hotel was easy to get and out of and the Expedia price was right. I plan to use it again when in the area.

Great staff.

Location: Easy walk or shuttle hop to downtown attractions or dining.
The people were great, notably the helpful girl at the desk, the very knowledgeable bartender and the friendly shuttle driver. The shuttle is a great benefit, by the way, as the location is quick hop to any downtown attractions. The room was a small suite with a queen bed. It was OK except the bedroom featured the world's last remaining 4:3 picture tube TV. There was a flat screen in the living room, so we watched on the couch. We didn't use the kitchen but a full fridge and a dish washer would be great for a longer stay. There is a winding tunnel that connects the parking garage to the hotel, easier to just go outside and around on a sunny day.

Balcony over vine street!

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Very nice staff!
Cons: The room was a little dirty. (coffee stains on table, hairs on couch and cigarette butts on the balcony)
Location: Over the Rine on Vine st. had great bars and restaurants!
Staff upgraded us to a two bedroom room with the choice of two bathrooms or a balcony. Also great parking near hotel.

Pros: Large spacious rooms
Location: right in the center of the city. Plenty to do
Parking is terrible. No ice machines or ice buckets on our 15th floor. Had to go to reception desk to get a free bag of ice. No glasses were in cupboard but were found in dishwasher. Breakfast in hotel restaurant was not good. Passage from the parking garage was through dark hallways and stairs not handicap friendly

Maybe it was a nice place to stay...years ago

The hotel lobbey area was nice and clean but the rooms are old with outdated furniture and bathrooms. The tub took forever to drain and the towels appeared more gray than white.

The hotel was very good. The staff was professional helpful and courteous. They upgraded my son and I to a double room with no charge.
