Garfield Suites in downtown Cincinnati

Posted May 16, 2015
Very nice facility. A full 2 BR apartment with a full kitchen and a balcony- more than a suite. Would be a great place for a family weekend in Cinci for zoo, ballgame, museums.

The place was good to walk to other places and space was enough to enjoy for two people. But the staff in front desk was not kind when I checked in...and windows in the room were dirty...general hotel interior was old fashioned...

Nice Location

Posted May 6, 2015
Pros: Great location. Parking was not part of the hotel but there is a garage right next door that was only $6 per night.
Location: Plenty of stuff to do within walking distance.
I went on vacation to see the Brewers and the Reds. I picked this hotel because it was close to the stadium. I found when I got there there are great restaurants and other things to do within a short walk. My room was on the 15th floor so I didn't have noise from the downtown area.

One night stay at the Garfield Suites

Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: It was comfortable. We needed a kitchen and it was just what we needed. The hotel staff were very nice.
Cons: Cleaner rooms, cleaner bathroom. Buy new pillows. They cannot do anything about the noise in the streets....just how it is.
Location: Good location, just a few blocks from Fountain Square. All sorts of things to do in Cincy. We came in for the Flying Pig.
It served our purpose of needing 2 bedrooms with a kitchen. Not the cleanest hotel we have stayed at. The bathroom was dirty and the pillows on the bed were dirty, had some things caked on the pillows inside the pillow cases. You could hear all the street noise. Lots of yelling in the streets all night long. The restaurant not very accomodating to leaving early on a Saturday morning. They do not open until 7:30 am, and we needed something by 6:30 am.

Horrible hotel

Posted Apr 6, 2015
It was not at all like the pictures. It was dirty, smelly, and out dated. The t.v in the bedrooms are from the early 990s.The location is bad the area is bad. The food is bad. I had a horrible experience

Really good room

Posted Apr 6, 2015
This hotel is talked about almost as if it is a nightmare! My family and I had just an overnight stay in a two-bedroom suite and it was great! The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and yes it is an old hotel so there will be some cracks and normal wear and tear, but overall it was ok. I would advise that the beds were firm, but I like firm so it worked out great! A full kitchen...the works! I would recommend it to friends.
