AC/Heater unit broken first nite. Disrepectful employee used profanity when i asked to see manager. Noisy mini fridge had to be unplugged to sleep. Moved to another room second nite above laundry. Very noisy. Had to ask them to turn off macines at 11pm! This room also had noisy fridge. This hotel failed at the fundamentals of innkeeping.

Staff were very nice but property is run down. Ceiling fans were filithy, stains on carpet, etc. Otherwise, facility was clean. Could use hooks in bathroom to hang wet towels.

it seems this property was renovated since the last time we stayed, it was very clean and staff was extremely nice! I even got a call when I got to my room from the front desk asking how my room was. very nice touch!

Bed was fabulous. Facility is older and worn. No one at the front desk in the morning. Driver to the airport was wonderful. I would book again. Make sure you bring your own dinner and drinks.

I hosted a birthday party for my granddaughter and four of her friends. The front desk person recognized someone in my party and called her ex-husband, she has a five year protective order, the staff called and let him know our exact location and RM number. She left at four am as she didn't feel safe. This put not only her but the children in danger as well. The rest of the staff was wonderful. This same employee left vomit in the pool and wouldn't clean so our pool party was cut short, the whole reason I booked a RM for two nights was so she could have a pool party! Unless this employee is dealt with for endangering us I will not stay at any Country Suites.

This is our 3rd year visiting the Newport, KY area but the first time we stayed out of the downtown area. It was so nice! The rates were a little cheaper, the hotel room was a little bigger and the 15 minute drive into Newport, to go to the Aquarium, wasn't much further than it took staying right downtown and having to navigate all the one way streets etc. Our kids loved the pool. It was bigger than most indoor hotel pools we've been to. We got a room with 2 queen beds and the living area. It was nice to have 2 spaces for our family of 4. Bathroom was very clean. The breakfast was standard. It had a waffle maker and scrambled eggs, sausage and buiscuits & gravy. They had cereal, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal and various bagels and muffins to choose from as well. They had something for all of us to be happy with, especially my picky kids. This hotel is near the airport but we never heard an airplane. We didn't even see one until the morning we left, as it was landing. I would absolutly stay here again.

After researching, reserving, and checking in we were told they were putting a hold of $125.00 on our credit card to make sure that there were no damages we would be responsible for. Told us it could take up to 7 days to go bac on our card. Ridiculous. I am appalled that they did this.

Missing light bulbs, mold caulked over in tub still visible, no hair dryer, missing door stop on middle door causing broken drywall, mis aligned entry door, no hot tub even though it was on the add. Overall on par with most 2 -3 star hotels, was disappointed given the higher reviews on Expedia.

Stayed overnight due to early morning flight. No complaints other than they put a $150 incidental hold on your card for up 7-10 days. Be aware of that. Staff was very nice, breakfast was good with several hot options.
