Close to train stationPosted Sep 24, 2013
Pros: The 2nd room was very nice compared to the first and no extra charge. Two minute walk from the train station.
Cons: The staff, no class, no public relation skills, not professional
Location: Location is okay for a small village, everything worth seeing is walking distance.
Not a hotel or motel more of an apartment. First room was very poor and was not satisfactory so we only stayed there one night and then moved to a newer nice room for the next two nights (so they do have a few nice rooms). From start to finish the check in & out staff were not hospitable and not helpful with any questions or concerns. Very doubtful any rooms have a nice view of anything. There was no wifi, no included breakfast, no bar and restaurant as advertised. First room was on the 4th level with no elevator and very poor lighting, smelled terrible. The 2nd room was street level and nice, a newer area of the complex.

Great servicePosted Aug 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had read some previous reports and were a bit dubious but were pleasantly surprised. Easy to find, just turn right out of the monterosso station and take the second street on the right and it is the second building on your left- number 3. The man on duty was a happy sole who spoke great English. We didn't actually stay at the premises but he took us to another property on the beach. Apparently they have rooms all over the town. It was only rated as 1 star but was a big room with air conditioning and a view up the beach from our room. We had paid extra for an upgrade online and were really happy. Brekky was included in the price and it was at Barabba bar on the beach- great location with free wifi. Typical brekky by Europe standards but adequate and lovely staff. Overall if you want to stay in clean, comfortable accommodation that has a great location and is just your basic room, this is just perfect. They even stored our luggage until our train left in the afternoon.

Being so close to the beach was great . The room was very clean and well supplied with toiletries etc However it would have benefited from a kettle, tea and coffee. The staff managed to find us a room for an additional night at short notice and charged us less for the second night . No breakfast though

Walking distance to beachPosted Jul 26, 2013
Pros: Excellent location and good installations
Cons: Information about it.
They have very nice rooms, very well equipped and new, with even small fridges. The staff is very limited, the phone number was incorrect so we had a hard time communicating ahead of time.

Small, Quant, and Very friendlyPosted Jul 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
Definitely walking distance from the Roma Termini if you don't have a lot of luggage but make sure you get very detailed directions. The streets aren't easy to find and the numbering on the street is difficult to follow (one side is 70's-90's and the other is the 100's-220's so it throws you off trying to find it). Staff was amazingly helpful. Breakfast is all sweets/cakes.

Good experience!Posted Jun 6, 2013
We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at this hotel! It seemed they were doing some renovations, but this did not hinder our experience. The room was very nice, though there were no lights in the hallway leading up to our room, which made it awkward coming back after dark. The lights in the hallway on our floor were controlled by motion sensors that weren't too sensitive, which made finding the door to the outside difficult as well. Additionally, there was only free wifi at breakfast, which was down the road a bit at a separate location. We would of rather had free wifi in our room. However, along with these negatives, there were a lot of positives: Anita allowed us to keep our bags in the lobby until check in time; she lent us her umbrella at no charge since we did not pack for rain weather; breakfast had an amzing view of the ocean and was GREAT food; we were also allowed to keep our bags in the lobby the day we checked out until our train arrived that evening. Our room had a balcony with a great view, though it wasn't of the ocean.

Awesome location close to beach and train stationPosted May 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
We enjoyed our stay here. Only 10 minute walk to the train station and two minutes to the beach. Central location to shopping and restaurants. Decent breakfast included at a local cafe/bar which also had free internet. The room we stayed in was very large and included a kitchen and bathroom. Also had a small deck with a view of the sea. Quiet nights for sleeping. Would definitely recommend staying here. Rates were very reasonable too. Only 15 minutes walk to the start of the Cinque Terra hike. One thing worth mentioning is it doesn't have an elevator to the rooms. But, that didn't bother us at all. It may be an issue if you have any kind of leg issues.

we stayed for 4 nightsand from the time we arrived the staff seemed more interested in things other than us, this included breakfast times. Although well sign posted when you knew where the hotel was, it was difficult to find on the first night. The hotel part wasdisconnected from the meals areas which was a restaurant next door and the rooms wereon the 4th floor, no lift and no English TV stations. The room was well cleaned each day though.

This hotel is housed in separate buildingsPosted Oct 17, 2011 on Hotels.com
Our rooms were in what was obvioiulsy a two bedroom apartment that had been converted to three hotel rooms. It was clean, new and comfortable. However, it seems not all rooms are equal. Our three children had a room with a view, air conditioning and a ceiling fan. Our room had virtually no view and absolutely no form of cooling whatsoever. It was fortunate we did not need the cooling, but I could imagine this being problematic in the hotter months.
