I loved my stay at Cinqueterre Residence so much. The owners provide so much helpful information before and after check in. It was very good for finding the place, picking restaurants to try, and finding hiking paths. They are wonderful hosts. They helped me arrange a taxi when I left and always filled my water bottle. The breakfast was so good and the property is beautiful. Truly cannot say enough good things. As long as stairs and mobility are not an issue for you, you will love it.

Amazing spot. The property is extremely clean and modern inside, the staff are awesome and super helpful. Breakfast is delicious and very handy- they even hand make you cappuccinos. It’s in a nice village close to many restaurants although there’s a fair amount of stairs to get back to the apartment. This is common all across CinqueTerre though, and there’s an option to take a lift back and avoid the steps. We decided we needed the exercise after too much pasta and took the stairs! 5/5 and coming back next year- thanks to Davide and his team for an awesome stay!

A gem of a place in Riomaggiore! Really enjoyed my stay - the room was spacious and clean, the views were beautiful and the breakfast was a highlight. The staff were very friendly and helpful!

This is a great hotel. Highly recommend. The walk may be difficult but the lift makes it easier. You're surrounded by nature. At night sitting on the atmosphere definitely helps recharge the soul. It's a bit isolated from the main street so you can appreciate some calm. The jacuzzi is a nice perk. The staff is super friendly.

Room was nice, clean and comfortable. Bathroom was good. Nice little terrace area with lovely views. Keeps you fit with all the steps, but the lifts come in handy. Nice breakfast.

What a beautiful place to stay! Extremely clean. The view of the city and garden were lovely. Davide was an exceptional host! We had gotten lost driving our rental car and Davide was very helpful in getting us to the location.

From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed. The facilities are beautifully kept, with a 24hr hydro tub, a terrace for each room and an excellent breakfast each morning, there is so much space available (bedrooms, terraces and all outdoor areas) in comparison with other hotels in the area and a wonderful view. We were so close to the town, we walked everywhere and Davide was able to help us with booking a wine tour, and answered all other questions we had about the area, from ferry timetables to walking routes. I would definitely recommend Cinqueterre Residence as a place to stay. Thank you for having us

We loved our stay here. The family team at Cinqueterre Residence have gone to great lengths to create a home away from home experience. From the welcome prosecco to the free mini bar, communal spa, great breakfast with personalised coffee service and any assistance offered enhanced the experience of all Riomaggiore has to offer.

Riomaggiore Gem
Riomaggiore is a gem, embedded in the overall Cinqueterre experience; and Cinqueterre Residence, family-owned, opens up this gem to travelers. I highly recommend it (and them, i.e., the family running it).

The property was up the hill and so peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was perfect with fresh rolls, fruit, cheeses, meats, pesto, etc., and fresh made espresso coffees. Bottled water was restocked daily. The hot tub was nice. In room safes. Little patio areas outside each room. Only down side is the only way up there is to climb several flights of stone steps. Nice exercise for us, but might be a problem for someone who is not in good condition. Also plan on 4.5 hours ahead for the train trip to Pisa airport to be on time. (about 3 hours to take train to La Spezia, change to train to Pisa, and get airport shuttle including waits between).

Hello, thank you for your nice review! Just an information for the next bookers, it's right that we have steps, like all the properties here, but we are the only one that have two access one on the main road of Riomaggiore side and another one on the main road were there is a bust stop of the local bus service. This service start from the beginning of the main road of Riomaggiore (close to the train station) and stop (on demand) in front of our upper gate, this way guest are not obliged to walk up by steps. What a wonderful stay. The owner was waiting for us before our arrival. She explained everything that we need to know. This property really made our first time in Italy went great. The room was really clean. Free soft drinks and water in the refrigerator every day. The location and the view of the property are excellent. I am really glad that I decided to stay here. I highly recommended this property to anyone. I normally don’t give great reviews easily, but this time I have to. I will definitely come to stay here again for our next visit to Cinque Terre.

The facility, location, and staff were all outstanding. It would be nice if they could improve the Wi-Fi throughput, but the Wi-Fi connectivity was still quite good and I understand the difficulties inherent in the location relative to Wi-Fi throughput. That was the only minor, very minor improvement that I might have wished for.

We loved our outdoor terrace with the most amazing view enjoying Sunsets with our cocktails. The breakfast buffet was included and it was very fresh. The mini bar was free. Our room was spacious and very clean. Davide was very helpful with directions and recommendations. I would highly recommend Cinqueterre Residence.

The view, the room, the patio, the breakfast and the people were AMAZING!!! Davide and his family treated us like family. Each morning started off with a smile on top of the coffee and every night ended with free beverages we enjoyed on the patio watching a beautiful sunset. It was truly a 1st Class experience! They also went above and beyond to help us when our travel plans had to change at the last minute because of the train strike! Totally a 5-Star Experience!!!

Loved our little temporary home.
We loved our stay here for 3 nights. It’s quite the hike up to the hotel but the view is worth it. I recommend having your luggage transported to the hotel by shuttle l. We didn’t get the memo (my fault) and hiked up the mountain with it. Our room was cozy, shower is very small but does the trick. Breakfast was amazing with fresh honey!!!
