Would stay again.
Stayed for only one night, but in other circumstances it would’ve been a great place to stay. Super friendly staff, even with my delayed train and arriving “after hours” they were there to help. Close to the beach, large nice pool, great breakfast. I had the economy single room so it was tiny, but normal for European standards, plus excellent price for being so close to Cinque Terre.

We were traveling through Europe, and had just been coming in from France. There, we stayed at a 4 star hotel as well. This property was immensely better, To start off, the breakfast was amazing. There is something to eat for everyone and all the food is delicious and fresh. The staff was also very welcoming and kind. They even went out of their way to prepare a tasty birthday cake for my daughter. The staff was very kind and anticipated our needs instead of just doing the bare minimum. Also, the location of the hotel was perfect. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk to the train station and is close to many restaurants. Not to mention its proximity to the beach, the hotel was around a 5 minute walk to a very pleasant beach as well. Our rooms were very clean and aesthetically pleasing. We were very happy to have chosen this hotel due to its calming and clean atmosphere.

We loved the charm of the hotel, a few steps from the beach. Everyone was nice and going out of the way to help with anything during our stay. The train station is walking distance, so it’s a great location for exploring Cinque Terre. We also enjoyed their breakfast, and the pool looked very inviting but unfortunately not warm enough days to use it when we visited.

We could not fault this hotel, the staff were amazing, service was superb, relaxing by the pool with a drink from the bar was lovely. The rooms were all spotlessly clean and you could see that the hotel had been recently renovated. On the last night we ate in the hotel and the food was excellent- highly recommended. If you want a great base to explore the Cinque Terre from then this is the place!

A nice place to stay away from the crowds
The Hotel Clelia Logis was a nice find when researching places to stay near the Cinque Terre. The property is clean and tidy with a great pool area. Our rooms were standard double rooms that were comfortable for a two night stay. However, the attached private bathrooms were very tight. The hotel has ample parking, so if you rented and arrived by car, it is easy to park, and then take the train north to Genoa, or south to the Cinque Terre or La Spezia. The train station is a short walk from the hotel. Those hotel kitchen does offer a breakfast and dinner, but has a hard stop/closing time for those meals. The WiFi can be spotty.

Overall this hotel is well worth a visit if you are in Deiva Marina. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. It has an excellent restaurant and a lovely clean swimming pool. There is a lovely sun terrace on the 3rd floor with sea views. The fixtures and fittings in the rooms are a little dated but other than that I would recommend this hotel

Hotel staff was awesome! Spoke English and put up with our butchering of Italian language. Room was great, quiet, restful. Pool was nice. Hotel restaurant meals were excellent! Eat there at least once! Location is close to the beach, just a block away.l, and close to the train station, just two blocks away. Parking is free. We hope to return and recommend this hotel highly. Nice stay, nice staff, nice location, worry free... best part of our trip.

Staff was very friendly and helpful; hotel was ok
We only stayed here for two nights. The staff was fantastic, but the hotel wasn't anything to write home about. We arrived in the evening and ate at the restaurant (mostly fish). Breakfast was very good. The beds were not very comfortable and we were not thrilled that our extra two beds were a day bed with a trundle. The shower was an open concept in a very small bathroom. We live in Europe, so we are familiar with the concept; however, given the very limited space, water gets everywhere. The hotel was a short walk to the train station.

Buongiorno! Thank you very much for your feed back. We are very happy that you found our staff "fantastic": it's a great pleasure for us! We are sorry that you did not like the room: unfortunately the review is anonymous, so we don't have the chance to double check what room booked. Anyway, since you're mentioning a trukle bed as an extra bed, probably it was a Family Room. Our Family Rooms are usually reserved by a couple + 2 young kids, as they are quite large rooms and some of them feauture also a little kitchenette to warm baby's food. Maybe there was some misunderstanding about the correct way to open and use the extra beds. Bathroom in family rooms is regular size and feature either a shower or a Jacuzzi bathtub. We really hope to have you here again with us: we have also very large and confortable apartments next to the hotel and 2 also in Cinque Terre. Hope to see you soon :-) Have a nice day

This hotel was so convenient, easy to find from the train station, and close! The staff were extremely friendly, the nicest people I have met in Europe. The room was nice, and the shower was fabulous! It was nice to have the connecting restaurant and I appreciated the salad bar. I would definitely recommend!

Excellent choice for a cinque terre visit
Room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was generous and delicious and it was great to have it on the terrace by the pool. Staff were very friendly. The location is perfect. We took the train to cinque terre every day and the train station is steps away. The hotel restaurant is one of the best in Deiva Marina.

Nice hotel with wonderful pool and restaurant
Nice hotel with fantastic pool and restaurant. Just a few hundred yards/meters away from the beach. A great perk with this hotel is that they can sell you train tickets - which is way better than dealing with the kiosks in the train stations that don't always function or have lines of people at them. Great place to stay "outside" the Cinque Terre set of towns.

Great amenities and location
Decided to stay just outside Cinque Terra,as these villages hard to get luggage in and out, plus no lifts in the accommodation ! Hotel Clelia 200metres to railway station,100metres to the beach, and it is all flat walking ! Accommodation standard was very good, with a great on-site restaurant.Big pool to cool off in and free coffee each day up to 5.00pm. A couple of local restaurants as well, but if you want nightlife, you need to stay somewhere else.Staff very helpful, with rail tickets available in reception. This hotel was an excellent jumping off place for Cinque Terra, but a lovely place to return to after a hard days sight seeing.

Lovely hotel in great area.
The hotel was really lovely. The welcome that we received was exceptional and we really felt special. The staff were friendly and helpful and were always on hand to help. The swimming pool is lovely and was quiet on so many occasions at times it felt like our own private pool. The beach is also close and there are lovely beach bars and restaurants close by. Although we did not stay for an evening meal it looked fabulous and was always popular. breakfast and lunch were delicious.

Nice location, with great staff, food, and amenities. Only drawback is this hotel is not in cinque terre like Expedia says it is. It is a 15 minute train ride away. You cannot walk to cinque terre from there. This is more an issue with Expedia than the hotel

Intimate resort by the sea
Loved our time there--great staff, excellent service from the front desk, good rooms, and beautiful grounds. The pool and gardens were very nice. It felt very comfortable there-my kids loved it--especially the small playground. My only complaint was breakfast--it wasn't very good--sort of a do-it-yourself with no instructions and a crabby kitchen staff person haphazardly restocking dishes that ran out. Everything else was fantastic--very service oriented in every other way.

We stayed for two nights. We had stayed for three nights last September. It is a lovely hotel with very friendly helpful staff. I will recommend this hotel as it is a great base for visiting the surrounding beautiful countryside.

This hotel is in one of the quieter towns along the coast. The pool is lovely & the gardens are very well kept. We booked a suite which had a nice terrace & jacuzzi bath but not cheap. The breakfast served is a good variety of food & drinks although they don't keep it stocked up very well. We ate in the restaurant one evening and it was not that special but the local restaurants aren't much better! Overall it was a lovely place but I would stay in one of the cinque terre towns if I was to visit again.

Four Towel Rating
I have begun to rate hotels by my 'towel' method. One towel for each: Good sized towels with good absorbency; Bathroom with toilet than a large person can use without hitting their head; A shower you can stand in and move around; A bathroom large enough to dry off without needing to go into the bedroom for room. The Clelia has them all and a great restaurant, less costly rooms and an elevator to take your bags to your room. You don't have to carry your bags up those steep hills in Cinque Terra for those over priced, tiny rooms.

Hotel worth the price and breakfast was good
The owner was really nice. The room was great - comfortable and clean. The hotel is really close to the train station, the beach and a pizzeria that serves really good pizza. The breakfast at the hotel was good too. There was a wide array of choices AND they had juicers, which I found to be great for someone wanting a healthy breakfast. If I had the chance, I would definitely go back.

Excellent place to stay just outside of Venice. Difficult to find even with GPS (which did not recognize either the name or address. However, worth the effort. Very beautiful property
I received very good, cheerful service and thought the property and pool were really well maintained. Dinner service was good, breakfast okay (not all food replenished). Although I had only a small, single room there was a lot of storage space -- cupboards, chest, etc. The shower was quite large too. The hotel is only a short walk from the train station and the beach. Highly recommend this hotel to others.

CINQUE TERRE VISITS
An excellent hotel with very friendly staff giving good advice on the tourist possibilities. It is situated just north of Cinque Terre but with the train station just 10 mins walk away visiting this great tourist area is really simple. I was particularly impressed by there half boards prices and the extras for the wine and coffee were very reasonable. Just one word of warning they offer free internet and phone calls but the internet speed is very slow and calls can be quite difficult to make, hence do not rely on this service if you have urgent requirements

Best Base for Cinque Terra
The Clelia becomes a home away from home within an hour of arrival. The grounds are beautiful, with a pool, garden, and veranda, and the hotel includes services from train ticket sales to trail maps. The staff is fantastic: accommodating, friendly, proficient in several languages including English, and polite. The restaurant serves excellent food and the breakfast was among the best we had during our three weeks in Europe. The train to the Cinque Terra stops a short five minute walk away. It would be hard to beat the value the Clelia represents and we would recommend it without hesitation.

A lovely launching spot for the Cinque Terre
We loved Hotel Clelia! It was quaint and charming and homely. My mum had a single room with a balcony which she adored. The service was fantastic. The rooms were very clean and the restaurant was outstanding. We ate there pretty much every meal! The town itself is about 3 train stations out of the Cinque Terre and the hotel is very close to the train station. The hotel sells train tickets, which makes it even easier. We would definitely go back if in that part of Italy.

close enough to Cinque Terre but yet in a seaside town. Didn't know how much of Cinque Terre would be open after the horrible landslides. So we decided to stay here, on my cousin's recommendation. So close to the train and easy to get to the towns of Cinque Terre. So glad the desk attendant told us to take the boat ride from Monterossa to Portovenere. What a beautiful day. She also advised us on our train route to Siena and arranged for our train tickets. Such wonderful people. Thanks for a lovely visit.

Hotel Clelia - family run delight
From the moment Anna escorted us to reception when she bumped into us in the street we had a great time at Hotel Clelia. Our suite was excellent and the friendly service was just perfect. The hotel is set in beautiful gardens that have a Bali feel to them. It is not far from the station and has a very good restaurant along with a verandah area to sit and relax. No problem is too hard to solve for this resourceful family. They even organised vehicles to take guests to Cinque Terre when the trains went on strike so that no one was disappointed. It is great value for money.
