“It was the best room we could have hoped for.”

It really made the trip. Can't wait to go back! The owner told us about trails we could take around the cliffs. Our balcony had the best view in the enitre town. It was clean and really gave you a feel of a genuine experince for the area!

“Best views in Vernazza!”

We loved this hotel. although the room was plain it was quiet and clean. We had a view of the ocean out of the bedroom window. the view from the rooftop terrace was worth a million dollars! The owner was friendly and very nice. we can't wait to go ther again!

“Definitely recommend in Vernazza”

It's a little hard to speak of Elisabetta's as a "hotel" since at least in our case we were in a room opening directly on one of the narrow little pedestrian streets that criss-cross the hills in Vernazza. We had instructions on how to find it; it was unlocked; we stayed and left the money behind when we left the next day. If we had needed anything, she had given us her mobile #. Simple room but very clean, fairly large with some kitchen facilities, and located a few minutes walk to the main street of Vernazza. This is a magical area, we were hiking the trail to all 5 towns and Vernazza was definitely our favorite. As I recall from her website, she does have other rooms, with a sea view, that are perhaps more clustered.

“Nice accomodation, great little town”

Vernazza was a great place to explore the Cinque Terre, which we did mainly by boat, but is a gathering place for hikers as well. Lots of good little restaurants, decent prices and wonderful scenery. BEWARE, however, that one must climb 76 steps up a passageway to reach the apartments; call from the information kiosk at the train station and the host will meet you and carry your luggage up the stairs, but you must make your own way down. The gas range in the apartment didn't work and apparently hadn't for a long time. Nevertheless, it's a charming place to visit at a reasonable price.

“Elisabetta Construction Site Noisy Dirty”

Arrived to the Elisabetta and met by a dirty construction worker (the proprietor) and two other fellows giving us a stare. Scaffolding all around the building with construction debris. Sea view from window blocked by all of this. Typical construction noise during the day. Apartment type room. Shaving hair in sink. Floory dusty. Cleaning supplies tucked in nooks and crannies. Shower curtain covered 1/2 of opening and lent to water all over bathroom floor using up the towels to control it. This was our one stay in Vernazza on my wifes birthday on our 15th anniversary Italy trip. Don't roll your dice with this place. Very dissappointing. How about doing repairs and renovations during the low season and making sure people know about it during booking?
