Can not be any better!!Posted Aug 7, 2014
Location: Laundry, coffee shops, market. Everything you can possible need is within walking distance.
This was my second visit to Riomaggiore and i would definitely stay there again! The Blue room was AMAZING!! My fiends stayed in the next room to us and it was just as wonderful with a big window looking to town. The rooms are clean and have big showers. The owner Maddy, IS WONDERFUL she is from New York with Italian roots (I believe). She bakes fresh croissants every morning. There is a wonderful coffee shop next door...and a public laundry next door. Thank you Maddy, for making our stay so comfortable.

Good base to visit Cinque TerraPosted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: We liked the location of Il BoMa B&B in Riomaggiore, and the second room with bathroom.
Cons: The breakfast should be more appetizing.
Location: All five towns are different, and worth a visit. The ferry trip between Riomaggiore and Monterosso is very scenic.
We booked the room with external bathroom, but did not like it. Fortunately there was a cancellation after our first night, and the owner was kind enough to transfer us to another room for our last two nights. This room was clean and comfortable. However, the breakfasts were not to our liking, being all pre-packaged food, apart from fresh croissants.

Stay here - it is FANTASTIC!Posted May 1, 2014 on Hotels.com
We have been travelling for 7 weeks and this was my favourite accommodation thus far! Maddy provides you with heaps of information and useful pamphlets for your stay - making it very easy! Riomaggiore is a lovely town - with amazing views. There is a Laundromat two doors down and lots of restaurants on the same street. The WiFi works well and there was even English TV channels. Breakfast was amazing - with fresh croissants put outside our room each morning to accompany the coffee, yoghurt etc. each morning. Our bathroom was separate to our room and just down the hall however it was only for our use (not shared). I could not recommend this place enough. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

As good as a room in a quality hotel.Posted Apr 24, 2014
Pros: It had everything we required including a small table and chairs where we could have taken a meal if we had wished.
Cons: Mid-late April, the weather wasn't warm. So late evenings were cold and we should have sought further clarification as to how to turn the heating on.
Location: Reasonable restaurants, good train service between the five villages, cliff walks with spectacular views.
Just through the tunnel from Riomaggiore station and halfway up the main street is Il BoMa. We were met by the friendly owner who made us very welcome and gave us practical information regarding public transport and the name of eating places she would recommend. The rooms were in pristine condition.

Great spot in RiomaggiorePosted Apr 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
Super cute hotel a short distance from the train station. Maddy greeted us warmly and gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations and overall tips about the area. Since the main trail (the blue trail) between the towns is partially closed, she told us about a fantastic hike in Riomaggiore that we squeezed in and ended up being the highlight of our time there. Our room was small but very clean and cute. There was an espresso machine in the room and a mini fridge full of free snacks and water. The only slight inconvenience was that we ended up with the one room with the bathroom in the hall (although it was only for our use). It was large and had good water pressure though so it wasn't a huge deal. I would definitely recommend this B&B to others! (also note that you need to pay in cash at check out)

Bed and BreakfastPosted Apr 8, 2014
Pros: We thought that the room was quite charming. Everything worked well......showers, coffee pot, etc.
Cons: A few croissants (terribly burnt) do not make a "full breakfast" as advertised, even when complemented by a few packaged biscuits. Very disappointing
Location: Hiking the Cinque Terre trails, sightseeing, and eating delicious food!
Overall, our experience was good. The owner had sent very clear directions to us as to how to find the hotel, etc. She also took the time to explain everything about the rooms to both our friends and ourselves. The rooms were bright and comfortable. Interesting view of the action on the main street. However, the place could be a problem for some people that find stairs hard to do. It was quite a slog even getting up to our third floor rooms with all our heavy suitcases! There is no lift!
