Nice hotel, close to the beachPosted Sep 2, 2013
Pros: I liked the location and cleanliness of the hotel.
Location: Really close to the beach and train station that connects the 5 towns.
Overall the hotel was nice. My girlfriend and I went on a Friday night so the room was a little pricey, but obviously that comes with the location. It's not even a 5 minute walk to the Monterosso beach, which also makes it really close to the train station. They charge you for breakfast, which may be 1 or 2 euros overpriced as well but they have a decent spread. We only stayed for one night, but I would definitely go there again. The front desk was friendly and the interior was fairly new.

Pros: Clean modern and so close to the beach.
Location: Location was perfect, 2 minutes to the beach, a store close by. It is on a hill so expect a little climb.
A great value and so close to the beach. The grounds are a work in progress, but breakfast was very good and the staff excellent.

Wow what a gemPosted Jun 19, 2013
Villa Accini in Monterosso was definitely one of the highlite stays during our extended Tour of Europe. It is located in the the hearth of the western side of the Town, very close to the Railway station and the beaches of Monterosso. Access is via a short steep path but with the help of the staff to bring your luggage up it is not a problem. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. The villa itself has a beautiful court yard with tables and chairs if you want to enjoy take away food at the premises. The rooms are clean and big enough for a comfortable stay. Lift access to all the floors is provided. The sumtuous breakfast served can either be enjoyed in the court yard or a well layed out dining room. The amazing thing about this hotel is how quiet it is. We found ourselves sleeping in almost every day even though we were raring to see the sights of fantastic Cinque Terre. To experience all the sights of this region and convenience of rail access, Villa Accini in Monterosso definitely needs to be considered. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay special. Nice and simplePosted Jun 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel was very pleasant, nothing too special but perfect for a one night stop in cinque terre. The lady who runs it is very sweet. Only downside is kind of tough to find and decent hill to walk up with suitcases.

Beautiful Views, Nice RoomPosted Jun 12, 2013
Best city to stay of the 5, nice beach nearby and good views from the room. Not far from the station either.

quiet placePosted Sep 16, 2012 on Hotels.com
Nice quiet place in a resort town. The walkway to the hotel is up a steep hill, so that might be a problem for some people.

Good for enjoying CINQUE TERREPosted Aug 28, 2012
This Hotel is only 8 mins walk from Monterosso (Trainitalia Railway Station 90 mins from Genova). 5 mins walk to the beach. Some nice restaurants are walking distance (all are less than 7 mins) from the hotel. There is a slightly long slope from the gate to the entrance.

nice bargin in Cinque Terra with a cavaetPosted Jul 22, 2012 on Hotels.com
My wife and I spent a weekend in new Monterosso and stayed at the Villa Accini. We took the train and found the Villa fairly close (and within walking distance). It is seriously off the street, if you will, and you have to be looking for the sign as soon as you turn onto the street and walk under the train overpass -- the fence gate is to the right as you start uphill. And it is a steady walk up the hill. If it is hot, you will sweat. If you are lugging luggage, you will tote it or roll it yourself. The Villa is a good 100 yards uphill, and there is no doorman to run down and bring your baggage up the hill. In this respect, it is not a full-service hotel, so please don't come with those expectations and get frustrated with the staff. On the other hand, the grounds are nice and the walkway (also the road for small cars up the hill) is covered with wisteria. The staff was helpful but not "gushing" --- the room was sparse, but really very comfortable and quiet. Great bed, btw. We did not have much of a view from our room, but we were not expecting one. Honestly, the room was modest but nicely priced -- so many rooms in Monterrossa were quite expensive, particularly for the weekend, so we were very happy with our choice. The breakfast was fine but simple. Wifi was available for a charge in the lobby (only).
