"Cheltenham Festival Stay"
We stayed here for a night prior to travelling to Cheltenham the following day. The room was initially fairly small but cosy and relaxing, but on opening the door to the bathroom it goes down the stairs to a lovely big shower room. Didn't find any mould growing which must be difficult as parts of the bathroom are standard walls and ceilings as its an old building full of character so must be well looked after. Nice bathroom, nice bedroom with quality bed and covers and pillows. Had a great sleep. Breakfast was served downstairs and the staff couldn't have been more attentive and service was quick. All really good. All staff very friendly and helpful. Would totally recommend this Inn to anyone.

"Right in the centre of town,"
Lovely pub full of character, with a wonderful varied but unpretentious menu.Warm and friendly ambiance. My single room was small but had all the comforts of home- except a wardrobe- so maybe opt for a room other than number one for more than a couple of nights stay. The staff were very friendly, efficient and extremely helpful. I saw some reviews complaining of noise and that refurbishment is needed. I discovered these comments are completely unfounded. Excellent and represents remarkable value.

"Short Stay"
Very pleasant and helpful staff Good breakfast but a shame bar not open Thursday/Friday/Saturday - we are not drinkers but it would have been nice to have enjoyed a quiet drink in the evening Air Con would be a great enhancement Hotel close to Main Road, therefore rather noisy, especially lorries unloading Very good parking facilities - 10min walk to town centre
