This hotel was a true delight. Close to the incredible Castelvecchio Museum and Colloseum as well as excellent restaurants and shopping. Breakfast had abundant choices and excellent quality. There were lovely quiet sitting areas in the hotel, one equipped with computer and printer, another a card table, and yet another with chairs for reading.

A charming hotel with comfortable accommodation; very helpful staff and a central location, all at a reasonable price. The town square is nearby, as are numerous restaurants, cafes and shops. The locale is pedestrianised, which makes sightseeing very easy and very safe. The traffic elsewhere is chaotic!

stayed here before and had a nice spacious room with balcony and birds hand
painted on walls. the room this year was tiny ,especially the bathroom and kind of dowdy. annoyed the elevator never came on morning of departure and had to drag my bags down three flights. other than that the location is great , next to car-free city centre.

This is our second visit to Opera Relais de Charme and it's been another full ratings visit.
The appartment is so close to the main points of interest. Also in a restriced area for most car traffic.
We used the train to visit Lake Garda and with an all day ticket travelled via hyrofoil to explore many towns. Take to the mountains via cable car.
Look down from 1,790 metres to the lake. You can train from Verona to Venice or Milan.
When we visit again we plan to use Verona airport. It's not a large airport; however it is local and saves the journey to Marc Polo Airport.

Tourists often explore the area on foot as cars are not allowed on many of the narrow streets, and walking is a convenient way to browse boutiques and stop at one of the many cafés. In the summer, visitors can attend the opera at Arena di Verona, the best preserved Roman amphitheater. Shakespeare fans and romantics alike can recreate the famous balcony scene at Casa di Giulietta (Juliet's House).
