“Italian hospitality”

Staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating with all our needs. Breakfast (provided) was excellent with good variety. Had a very earlier check out for our trip back to Rome, the staff pre-arranged an early breakfast for our group. The hotel has a cute little bar and lobby area. Centrally located for exploring the Umbria countryside and southern Tuscany.

“Honey Moon”

We had a blast going to Italia for our Honey Moon. The hotel was great. We told reception that it was our honey moon and they gave us the only room in the hotel with a balcony out to the city. The City was wonderful and our stay was pleasent. I would defently go again.

“Service beyond the call of duty”

We booked a one night stay at this hotel as our dughter was singing in the Citta della Pieve cathedral. We didn't know when we booked that the date coincided with the annual market - the town was crowded and with roads closed off getting to the hotel was a nightmare. Once we did get there it was a haven of tranquillity. Parking is in the main public car park - it was full, but the hotel staff were very helpful both in providing access to the staff car park, and, when we were blocked in by three other cars with a 0700 departure, in getting the other cars moved - all this on their busiest night ever, and smiling throughout. Modernised hotel, ideally situated for town centre, large rooms, good bathrooms, good food (again under severe pressure, more than double the usual number of covers) - we'd certainly go back and in fact wished we'd booked for longer. Huge thanks to all involved.

“Excellent choice for Umbria”

The Hotel Vannucci was an excellent experience. The staff were very helpful and their recommendations were spot on. The hotel itself was in a good location to go many of the towns in the area but let you experience a small town atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel.

“Wonderful Umbria Hoel”

Our stay at the Vannucci was one of the highlights of our recent trip to Italy. The hotel location in the charmingly "untouristy" village of Ciatta del Pieve was so refreshing after spending time in the bigger cities. The hotel staff was do it all - from check in to bar service to bellman - everyone on staff did everything. The restaurant was excellent. And the rooms, while somewhat small were furnished with the amenities of a fine hotel. I would go back in a heartbeat!

“A Wonderful Stay”

This hotel is wonderful with extremely accommodating clerks and very clean and unusually large rooms. Great complimentary breakfast too. I loved our stay and I loved this town. Thank you Vanucci!

“Unbelievable”

The town, hotel and staff were exactly what we were looking for. when we left the entire staff came to say goodbye and that they all hope we return soon. So do we!

“Great spot in Umbria”

Family of 5 loved this place- clean rooms, perfect setting for excursions, good breakfast, very hospitable staff. The only issue I had was that they did not tell you about the exhorbitant cost of using the (somewhat sparse) fitness room or the jacuzzi. Otherwise, we spent two wonderful nights in a quaint little town in this very comfortable hotel.

“Beautiful restaurant & hotel”

The hotel restaurant was superb in a Michelin style at reasonable prices. The hotel staff were very helpful and the rooms well presented if a little functional.
