Great location!

Posted Mar 20, 2015
Pros: Everything. The fresh apples at the front desk.
Cons: Better television reception. Not that we watched a lot, but when we were in the room it would have been nice.
Location: Plenty of Pubs, shopping and great eateries. Bus stops and train stations are very close.
This was our first trip to Ireland, and this was the perfect location to be. Centrally located and with walking distance to bus and train stations. The front desk staff was WONDERFULLY helpful, and very friendly. There is a great little Pub right next to the hotel, "the Ginger Man Pub" and a cute little Bistro/Pub right down the street. The area is quiet, even over the St. Patrick's Day holiday, but there was activities within walking distance. Shopping and plenty of dinning choices as well. 4 thumbs up!

Espetacular.

just behind Trinity College

Posted Feb 22, 2015
Pros: nice compact gym for workouts clean rooms;nice touches-quality Irish Tea supplied, complimentary toilettries
Cons: Mattresses are not up to the standard of the rest of the experience, and there was deferred maintenance where so many years of shower overflow had str
Location: Unless you want the massive "Irish Breakfast" ....skip the B&B charge and go a couple of blocks west to one of the "JKC Peaches" - all fresh & tasty!
never visited Dublin, so took this one one recommendations from Expedia customers. Solid value- generally a clean safe place in the heart of Dublin. Right beside Trinity College and a short walk into the best entertainment and shopping

Angenehmes Hotel in zentraler Lage

Posted Feb 19, 2015

Lovely, central location

I really enjoyed my stay - I always stay in an O'Callaghan hotel when I visit Dublin and the Alexander was not a disappointment. It's very close to Trinity and the museum district, making it a perfect launching pad from which to explore the city.

Excellent Hotel - Definitely Recommend!

Excellent hotel - very clean, fantastic rooms, extremely helpful, friendly and professional staff, excellent location just a 5 minute walk from the main shopping area in Dublin. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Dublin! In fact, I have already recommended this hotel to my sister who is hopefully travelling out at the end of the month!
