Good hotel, centrally located.

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: Central location, good service.
Cons: The lighting in the rooms - I'm not a big fan of overhead lighting.
Location: Right in the heart of the Temple Bar area - lots of bars and restaurants, and not a long walk to Trinity College.
We stayed here the weekend before St Patrick's Day. the Temple Bar area was full of partying people which made for more noise than I would have preferred. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were nice, though on the small side.

TRES BEAU SEJOUR

Close to downtown

enjoyed my stay. Clean place, comfortable beds and a nice pub in the hotel. Only downside is that my room was next to a fire department so it was a tad noisey.

Pros: Location. Staff great. Very modern
Location: Good for eating out, shopping and sight seeing. Tour bus stops across road from hotel
Just returned from a two night stay in this hotel. Location is great, close to shopping and restaurants. Staff were excellent, very helpful and pleasant. We had a room at front of hotel. Room was well equipped for our stay. Would recommend it.

Weekend for shopping and attending a play

Posted Mar 9, 2015
Pros: Everything ,fab decor
Cons: color scheme of the corridor and rooms in the trinity section ,also the room lighting
Location: Shopping, Temple Bar ,Gaiety Theater ,Art Galleries , Trinity University
Fantastic location, great staff , and the food was great. The reception , bar and dining area were beautifully decorated and had the WOW factor. The bedrooms however in the trinity section were a little disappointing , very dark (purple and black color scheme ) and very badly lit , that was the only negative thing about this hotel . Definitely recommend it .

Good Hotel - close to the centre of Dublin

Posted Mar 4, 2015
The Trinity is situated within an easy walk of the centre of Dublin. The staff are helpful and friendly. The bar has a cosy ambience, the food is good and the prices are in line with those at local bars and restaurants. All in all an excellent place to base yourself for a visit to Dublin that can also be a peaceful haven from the hustle and bustle if that is what you need.

Perfect and funky

Posted Mar 4, 2015
Pros: The mix of colour and richness alongside value and comfort.
Cons: I can't imagine.
Location: A stone's throw from town. Our balcony overlooked (very nearby) Trinity College, which was a real treat.
This was my second stay at this lovely hotel. It is sporting an even more lush and theatrical look than last time! The staff are friendly and the ambiance warm and comfortable. I will def stay at The Trinity on my next visit.

Unhelpful front desk & crap Hospitality!!!!

Posted Mar 2, 2015
We travelled all the way from Canada to Dublin for a short 2 days trip. We were greeted by the most stern face with no pleasantness front desk staff FRANCESKA. You don't expect the unpleasant face on front desk when you have travelled half across the world for 18 hours. She checked us into the most crappiest room of the hotel despite of asking her if the room is good or not. She told that we will get what we paid for!!! Seriously, we paid $537 for 2 nights which was not cheap!!! The room was located on third floor overlooking the backyard of fire station. The room was so small & claustrophobic that there was no air circulation making it extremely warm. On top of that there was generator in the backyard which was charging whole night and so noisy that we didn't sleep for two nights. On asking about different room available again this front desk lady FRANCESKA told us that nothing is available and that's the room we paid for. Anyhow, we were stuck as it was prepaid and didn't wanted to return to this hotel. So, we decided to spend entire day outside so that whenwe get to room we can at least fall to sleep due to tiredness. But what we see on our return was unexpected the room & toilet was not cleaned or serviced while we were out. So we somehow straightened the beds ourself and cleaned the room. This was the level of service we received from this so called 4 star hotel. On checking out, when I told FRANCESKA about the stay she said to call the hotel number to speak to manager.
