"Modern hotel close to the metro station."
The hotel was easy to get to - just take the S1 or S2 to Warszawa Ochota station, and walk up the west (back of train) exit stairs to Towarowa, and you're there. Check in was easy. Staff was courteous. Room was modern and clean. TV has a number of channels, but basically only BBC World for anglophones. The hotel is geared towards business visitors. The decor is modern, with fridge, coffee, pant press, document locker, etc. The breakfast is overpriced, but geared towards business visitors who travel by corp card. The old town is a few kilometers hike - perfect for me, as I love long hikes to clear my mind and see more that just the regular touristy stuff. My suggestion for a day hike: 1. Walk east, down the main boulevard (Aleje Jerozolimskie). In a couple of kilometers you'll pass the main station, the "Golden Terraces" shopping centre, the Palace of Culture and Science (wow!) 2. Take a left on Marszalkowska, then a quick right under the Galeria Centrum shopping center under pass, which will take you down a walking street called Chmielna, which is lined with cafes, bars (great for night life). Cross the large angular intersection to the end of Chmielna. 3. Take a left on Nowy Swiat, a broad street with about 2km of restaurants, shops, bars, histrical buildings, etc. Keep walking, and... 4. Ta-da! ...you'll end up at the main square of the old town. Venture in and walk around and through to the new town, or: 5. Cross the bridge to see the zoo.

"Cosy and convenient hotel"
We stayed in Warsaw for two nights and although the room was quite small, especially the bathroom, it was absolutely perfect for my husband and I. Would recommend to anyway for a budget stay perfect for exploring the amazing city of Warsaw.

"Great hotel for a short stay"
Wonderful budget hotel located a short distance from city center. Rooms have been recently refurbished to a high standard. Room size is adequate for a short stay. Small wardrobe with desk and chair. Flat screen tv with a range of channels (sky news was the only English channel) but no pay per view. Bathroom very smart with bath/shower/hairdryer.Complimentary coffee/tea and bottled water. Hotel is situated in the Ochota dirtrict. Transport connections are excellent. Outside the hotel is Ochota mainline railway station. This connects you directly to the airport. Several tram stops are also outside. The city centre is a ten minute tram ride away. Trams run until midnight during the week and until 1am at weekends. Across the road from the hotel is a number of restaurants, Turkish, Indian, Steak house, Moroccan (vegetarian) and a coffee house. The hotel restaurant and bar was undergoing refurbishment at the time of my stay however, residents had the use of the adjacent hotel facilities which were excellent.

Pocket Guide: Warsaw City Centre Warsaw Louvre Hotels

Poland’s capital city has eclectic architecture. Warsaw’s Old Town was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1980, even though 85 per cent of the city was destroyed during World War II. Since Poland joined the EU in 2004, Warsaw has experienced a huge building boom. Modern skyscrapers, 1950s-era East-bloc buildings, and centuries-old Gothic architecture all dot this city of 4 million’s skyline.
