“Wonderful Experience”

The room we stayed in was newly remodeled with plush bedding, new fixtures, a flat screen tv, and even a towel warmer. Not all rooms have been remodeled, so be sure to ask when you make your reservation.

“Comfort in the Emerald City”

We have traveled all throughout Europe and always expect the rooms to be small. Not HERE!! The King Size Bed was sooo comfortable - we look forward to enjoying a great night sleep every night. The staff were courteous and extremely friendly. The free breakfast every morning included everything from eggs to french toast (order on request). I can't say enough of this hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

“very nice experience”

I stayed in a new or refurbished wing of the hotel and it was very nice. My only quibble (a small one) was with the incomplete info from the desk staff. When I arrived in my room I could not figure out how to turn on the lights. After flipping all the various switches with no results, I called the desk and was informed that I needed to insert my room keycard into the slot by the door for the electricity to work. This is the first time I've encountered this system, and the desk should mention it to guests at check-in.

“Lovely hotel and trip!”

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding and were very impressed! The lobby was fresh with nice decor and lighting. Rooms were a good size with all mod cons - even speakers in the bathroom! and were cleaned every day to a high standard. My only complaint was that the "king size" bed was actually two single beds put together so there was a line down the middle which was a bit uncomfortable! Staff were friendly and courteous. Breakfast was very nice and the bar was modern and fresh. New Spa was fabulous (apparently!). We would recommend this hotel but was quite pricey when booked directly via them.

Bunratty castle hotel was an excellent get away. The employees were extremely nice. There was a fine breakfast. Would have liked to have checked-in in time to have enjoyed the spa facilities. They looked relaxing.

Had a fantastic weekend at this hotel. Lovely setting with the added bonus of Durty Nellies across the road. Really convenient for Shannon airport & also the coast. Will be going back and would, on our experience, reccomend it.

“A welcome weekend break”

The hotel was excellent for a short weekend trip. The foyer is lovely and the rooms to a good standard and comfortable. We had room service on the first night which was of a much higher standard than we were expecting and the breakfast was fine. The bar was also very stylish and the leisure club excellent. All in all, a high quality hotel at very reasonable prices in a lovely (albeit touristy) village which has 2 choices of bars, budget dining options as well as 2 quality restaurants to choose from. Oh, and the view of the castle at night is a wonderful spectacle. Would not hesitate to recommend for a relaxing weekend away.

Impressed by the entire experience. Hotel staff very helpful and considerate. Excellent full Irish breakfast. Pool, spa, etc looked great. Singing night at Durty Nellies was an absolute blast. Great local pubs/restaurants. Woolen Mills for souvenirs. Winery for Mead and Pocheen. Castle and Folk Park is a must see - plan on a half day, at least. Medieval Banquet at the Castle is a night you won't forget, music is outstanding! Highlights of a great vacation: the local people, their music, and the relaxed pace of life.
