“nice hotel shame about location”

Hotel was great but there really is nothing to do in Shannon. Be prepared to travel even for a drink or resturant. The chinese takeaway at the hotel however does great food.

The night front desk person was very helpful(we checked-in at night). Nice clean room. I have a little difficulty with balancing the water temperature, or maybe it's just me. Over all we were very satisfied with this hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

“Would stay again for an early flight out.”

We were in Galway most of the trip, and needed a place close to the airport afterward, and this was perfect. Nice pub and Chinese restaurant inside the hotel were a plus. Taxi back to the airport was only 8 Euro and less than 10 minutes away. One concern was no wireless internet in the rooms, so had to come to the lobby for internet. There was also no A/C.

“Great Airport Hotel”

We stayed at Shannon Court Hotel on our last night in Ireland. We were flying out of the Shannon airport early the next morning, and it was a perfect spot to get in some sleep just before heading out. Definitely not a scenic, tourist location, but it served our needs perfectly. Was only about 5 minutes from the airport. There was even a nice pub inside with live music. Was fun to get in one last pint before the end of the vacation.

“Nice Room and Location”

The location is very good, quite convenient to the airport. The room was very nice, and clean. The on-site restaurant and pub, however, leave a lot to be desired. The pub was not a welcoming place. The chinese restaurant was too specialized. The menus were confusing (was the pub food available in the restaurant?). The food was OK. Also, there was no alarm clock in the room, a minor inconvenience.

In short I would recommend anyone to stay at the hotel.. I will in the near future would wish to stay there again.

The Shannon Court Hotel was the perfect location for access to the airport. The Pub was great and the room was clean. The staff provided great customer service and I will use this hotel again on my next trip. Thank-you for everything.

“Pleasant, needs to provide better transport info”

I needed a place to stay near the airport to catch an early morning flight. When I arrived, the desk clerk mentioned options of taxi or bus, and found out for me the time of the bus I could catch in the morning. I neglected to ask where the bus stop was, the clerk didn't offer that information, and the next morning when I left to get the 6:30 a.m bus, there was no one at the desk to ask where the bus stop was. I ended up taking a taxi. (The bus stop is very near the hotel, bus is not obvious; if you're a sleepy and fatigued traveler, it's not readily apparent.) It would be very helpful if the hotel had an info map in the rooms and also posted at the desk indicating where the bus stop is and bus timetables.

“Comfortable & close to the airport”

However, the service was poor, compared to the other hotels we stayed in during the trip. Can't recommend it.
