Nice hotel central locationPosted Jul 21, 2014
The hotel was uncomfortably hot and stuffy. There is no air conditioning. Had to keep bedroom window open and this was quite noisy. There is a bus stop right outside.

Nice central location in EnnisPosted Jun 21, 2014
The hotel was very nice with close proximity to downtown Ennis. The continental breakfast was very good with a wide variety of breakfast items. Staff was very friendly. Overall a great hotel for a few days in Ennis.

Central Hotel with good atmospherePosted Jun 7, 2014
Pros: Liked the fact that it was central. Loved the Bistro and the music entertainment, bistro food v. good. friendly staff.
Cons: Breakfasts a little rushed, plates scalding (child?), bacon v hard, small portions, floor unswept in corner from prev. night (wkend).
Location: Good location, Fleadh week, wonderful musical events, including fab concert at the Glor. Some interesting little shops in Ennis plus all the usual.
Most enjoyable stay. Room was very clean with all the usual facilities. We had chosen the festival week so there was plenty of musical entertainment in the hotel and in Ennis, which we enjoyed very much. Noted coaches to Dublin stopped outside hotel so that's something for the future. We had one or two problems getting parking in the hotels's limited parking space but resolved quickly.

Could have been nice.Posted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: Good location
But there was no temperature control and the room was hot as blazes. Only option was to open the window and endure the loud noises from the bar outside. This is the kind of hotel where, if you walk up to the front desk, they'll quote you a room rate that's twice the Expedia number. To get the web price that's what everyone pays, they actually make you log onto Expedia, standing there at the front desk, and book it while they watch. In short, this is not the kind of hotel that respects its customers. At all.

Ennis proud town worth a look!Posted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: Great location and interesting history of building.
Location: Great central location very comfortable accommodation with well priced meals on site.
Temple Gate Hotel in great location right on square and shopping area. Parked the car outside the hotel and didn't need it until we left. Close to lovely river walk and loads of history. Lots of interesting places to eat nearby and hotel pub good too! Really enjoyed our stay.
