“Family trip”

We choose this hotel as the ones closer to Morgantown were all booked. With three kids, we loved the heated indoor pool. Also it was next to shopping and several restaurants. A great, clean, and well designed hotel.

“Clean room, nice staff... bed was awful”

This place was as we expected and the staff was kind to us-- given we had a teething infant in tow. However, the 'custom firmness' bed they have there.... it basically went from 'like concrete' to 'sort of like concrete.' We've found most hotel beds to be pretty bad, overall, so I can't fault them entirely... but the dial was useless... kind of just taunted us with the promise that it could have been better.

“Our Regular Hotel”

Hotel stay wonderful as always. Staff are very friendly. I even noticed the executive chef help clear tables and cash people out when the server was busy. It's nice to see staff that go out of their way to help each other as well.

“Nice room”

This room was nice and clean. Typical chain hotel. I have no complaints. Would stay there again next time I am in the area. I love the desk chairs. Very comfortable. Had a nice office center near the lobby.

“One of the best in Clarksburg”

I didn't eat at the restaurant but food looked good. Don't know about prices of meals either. My room ws on on the end of the hotel that was next to the interstate so it was a little noisy. Next time I will request a room on the other end of the hotel. Staff was very accomodating. Enjoyed my stay.

Area recommendations

There are several good hotels in the area of the FBI Center. Holiday Inn Express is the only one I would recommend in the area of the shopping district.

“Our Regular Hotel!!!!”

We always stay at this hotel when we visit family nearby. The hotel is extremely clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The bedding is very plush and comfortable. We usually have breakfast in the restaurant which is always good. Much better than Denny's!

“Excellent place to stay.”

We have stayed here a few times at this location and it is a welcome end to a long days drive. The pool and hot tub are open late and were fun with the kids. Fresh fruit, tea and coffee were available in the lobby. There is a variety of fast food and family restaurants nearby.

“Nice Place to Stay in Clarksburg”

My family and I stayed here several nights as we did about a year ago. Service has improved. The staff knows what it's doing now. Clean rooms. The only drawback is walkability. The hotel is within walking distance to a lot of stores and restaurants, but you have to drive. No sidewalks!

wonderful, wonderful customer service. very friendly and helpful. very clean and comfortable room. i travel a lot and to have found this little gem has been a blessing...it's my home away from home.
