Convenient stop
Posted Jan 28, 2013
Located a bit outside town. Quiet. Older and dated but clean and comfortable. Free wi-fi. Not the place for a long vacation but a good stop for a long trip. Staff very nice.

easy access off interstate

Both of the ladies at the desk that I talked with were very helpful cheerful. They were the best part of my stay there! When I forgot my luggage they brought it in and took care of it until I returned a couple hours later for it. The breakfast wasn't anything to write home about as the waffle griddle didn't cook the waffle very well and the biscuits were just about rock hard. The room took quite a while to warm up, the a/c filter was nasty as was the dark dirt marking on the bathroom door. Otherwise...so glad the help was terrific!

Would not recommend if a good sleep was important.

Unfortunately the thing that stands out for me about our one night there is the noisy heater. When only the fan was on, it was quiet; however when the heating element kicked in, it was extremely noisy. I was exhausted, but could not fall asleep due to the noise. When I finally did fall asleep, I was awakened several times due to the noisy heater. The next day I felt groggy and sleep deprived, which I was! We were in Room 125. I reported it to the desk clerk the next morning, and she wrote it down, but I don't know if anything was done to eliminate the problem. Fran H.

Not the best, but tolerable
Posted Jan 28, 2012 on Hotels.com
Somewhat dirty. Stains on the carpet, and the TV didn't work in our first room so we had to switch rooms. The bathroom tiles were also dirty and very warn with lots of mildew. The room was tolerable for the cheap price, but if you're looking for comfort you may want to upgrade.

this facility needs some real updating, carpet really stained, and the door did not shut properly.

I stayed indoors & had dinner delivered.

Breakfast was great!!! I got there after dark and was quite nervous unloading and getting to my room alone as a singe woman. There were several interesting characters leaning on the second floor sidewalk watching me. Needless to say I was a bit unsure. Once in my room, i locked the door and ordered a pizza delivered for dinner.

The room was adequate for our group, but I doubt if we would stay there again. The rooms were not as clean as I would expect them to be and the maintainence within the rooms had been overlooked.
