Definitely price gouging during the eclipse. $100 quality for much more. The place desperately needs removation - floor peeling up, filthy black hand prints on the bathroom walls, probably can get the floor cleaner. It was very obvious this room wasnt rented often with the lack of supplies and the look of furniture thrown in plus the key card not working ("often doesnt after the time change" which was a while ago...) Good bones to the biulding just not kept up. Very kind staff. They are to be commended for their work!

The property is old and dated and needs a facelift. Our room had a musty smell and could and at a minimum could use new carpet and a paint. The "breakfast" is basically all starch. No eggs or fruit essentially just cereal, we went elsewhere for breakfast. Paid way to much for this room but it was one of the few rooms available due to the influx of people to see the eclipse.

The tv had to be repaired, there was minimum water pressure in the shower with limited hot water and the sink faucet never did pour out hot water. Will not stay there again.

Nice stay. Only complaint was having to wait for front desk staff to check in and out. Wasn't busy; staff simply wasn't at the desk. Was a bell to ring for help, but it was blocked by a covid safety shield.

It is a good overnight stop for the money. It’s right on highway 67. Breakfast was good but breakfast room was small and a bit crowded.

Place was clean and the front desk and cleaning staff were very pleasant and polite. Room could've done with a few more small amenities like drinking cups and lotion in the bath, and a bathroom vent would be handy for when it gets fogged up in there, but for the price it was just fine and we were comfortable and got a good night's sleep. Will likely stay here again next time we're in the area.

I would stay here again
I had a very good experience. The bed was clean and comfortable. It was quiet, the check in was good and the room was clean. Breakfast was waffles, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, brownies, donuts and toast. Drinks were coffee milk and orange juice. The dining room was very clean.

Fire doors did not close properly. Our room door was hard to open. The bottom of the door drug on the carpet. The exercise room was not available. I would have appreciated having a coffee pot in the room.

My windows were cracked so we heard everything outside…police, fire, etc. The toilet paper holder was rusted. Carpet was filthy. Shower had zero pressure. Breakfast items really lacking…a tray of small white powder donuts, another tray for brownie bites, and then a tray of white bread. The “orange juice” was Kool Aid or something similar. Never booking at a FairBridge again.

Super friendly staff and the room size and set up were great! The best was really comfortable. Unfortunately, our non-smoking room still smelled smokey, the bedspread even had cigarette burns on it. Wondered if they forgot to clean it after the last guests left? Necklace, knotted in hair, on the bathroom sink and crazy wad of hair in the drain of the tub.

On initial appearance the exterior and lobby were in good condition but the room we were given was very dated, with many fixtures loose, worn and in poor condition. The room was clean, the bed was clean and comfortable, and everything worked, but otherwise, the room was in dire need of some maintenance or a remodel.

The customer service was decent but it took all night to cool off the room cause when we walked in, it was like a sauna. The a.c unit barely blew any cold air out. Another down fall was that the breakfast was ok but No eggs

Given the condition of the poorly kept property, dirty (dirt filled) looking furniture, low quality breakfast, dining area/chairs ..., pool availability, non-working lights in room, many days of frosting in the fridge, non-availability of pressing iron ... this hotel should go at a nightly price point of no more than $60.00. I chose this hotel expecting far better quality, service and convenience because of its daily rate as compared to going at neighboring hotels whose low rates I associated with less than desirable standards. Non of those low nightly rates hotels could offer any poorer accommodation product.

The neighborhood was a good neighborhood, however walking in to the business the owners had their entire Indian family there, and it smelled like Indian food which is not a problem, but it they had kids everywhere and the kids were screaming and hollering the room was OK however, it was dirty. There was an ant in my bed, there was dust on the counters the windows were dirty the bathroom had almost one empty roll of toilet paper

Paid for a non-refundable king suite at 8pm. The lady at the front desk was very nice at check-in. I walked into the room with my child, assessed the condition and got on my phone to find another hotel. The room had an awful smell along with dingy outdated furniture. Perhaps the space was formerly a smoking room, I cannot say but there was no way I was staying. I didn't even want to sit on the couch. We left and went to the Hampton Inn and had a great stay. Do not confuse Fairbridge with Fairfield like I did.

I love the fact that they still have smoking rooms! It is older but is being updated. The pool needed to be cleaned but was immediately attended to. Overall was good, I would stay there again.

The property is very old and dirty. There are stains on the sheets and pillows. The facility in general is older and getting run down. I originally thought the price was right but for the condition of the hotel and cleanliness of the room it should’ve been about $50 instead of $100 a night.

Probably the worst nights rest in a hotel ever. Road noise was very loud. When I went into the bathroom in the morning, I saw small cockroaches scurrying about. The breakfast was very limited and the waffle mix was empty

I was at the hotel for 7 days and enjoyed it. It was very clean. My only complaint is the hot part of breakfast could have some varity, i love biscuits and gravy but not every morning.

SMOKEY & STINKY
The pictures do it too much justice. I was shocked to arrive and be greeted by the front desk clerk smoking in the front of the building. She was very friend and sweet. This hotel actually allows indoor smokers on the 3rd floor. I was shocked that any hotels even still upholds this very OUTDATED practice. The inside felt very dingy and even though my room was a non smoking room, the whole building just reeked of lingering smoke smell. I suppose it permeates the walls and all the fabric. I noticed when I took my bags upstairs that there was something sticky on the floor next to the bed, like the carpet was just gooey. Totally grossed out but trying to convince myself it would be okay, I left my bags to go get a bite to eat. I decided I just couldn’t do it so I went back to the room to retrieve my bags. They said they couldn’t issue a refund. I felt it was well worth losing my money for the night than to have to sleep in that hotel. I lost my money on this one. Stayed in a nice clean and safe hotel about 15 miles away. Not a good experience.

We knew that it was gonna rain hard, but long story short the power went out. Night #2 was uncomfortable. Even though it’s completely not the hotels fault, I assumed it would have a back up generator or something. The room itself was quite spacious and the bed was super comfortable. We woke up around 5am and just decided to work with what we got and opened the window to let some cool air in. Hotel as a whole was actually great, decent breakfast and beverage options, the front desk had a new associate named Jordan? She did her job real perfectly with me, super fast check in.

The hotel got above average reviews so I booked it based on others I had stayed at. Upon arriving and walking in I was met with a hot musty smell. I thought maybe it was coming from the parking lot. It wasn’t. I checked in and took my stuff to the third floor. The higher we got the worse it smelled. By the time I got to our room I was nauseous from the cigarette smell. Our room was 90 degrees when we opened the door…after having to go back because the key wouldn’t work. Got in, turned the ac on and all the way down. Connected to the “wifi” and immediately knew it was a bust. I couldn’t even send an email. I did a speed test on the connection and it was .04mb download speed!!! What the actual fuzz??! I had faster service using AOL discs in the 90s!! Were there better options in the area I would gladly eat the cost and bail. Unfortunately they all look as bad or worse. Lesson learned. Never stay at a Fairmont again. At least the sheets were clean. There is that. The dresser drawer won’t stay closed either, so I hope I don’t forget to dodge it if I have to use the bathroom tonight.
