Gave me a room with no deadbolt or chain lockPosted Jun 12, 2015
Pros: Good location.
Cons: Staff should be trained to be more polite - especially with how they answer the phones.
Location: Convenient to the airport.
The floor on which I was to stay had just been painted so there were strong paint fume smells. The wrong lock was put back on my door, and the hotel staff didn't know which one it was so it took about 25 minutes to get into the room. Once I did enter the room, I saw that there was no deadbolt or chain lock. As a woman who travels alone frequently for work, i would never stay in any hotel room in which i can't securely lock the door from the inside. The hotel staff explained they had removed the chain locks because of the renovation. I asked to change rooms but they said they didn't have any other rooms that were available. The hotel only changed my room once Expedia called to get involved. Granted, there was a sporting event in town and it was difficult to get a hotel room anywhere. But I think they had a room they could have given to me all along.

Very disappointingPosted Jun 11, 2015
Pros: The beds were comfortable and the room was clean.
Cons: Lots of room for improvement (noise, pool, friendliness and helpfulness of front desk staff).
Location: Quick access to I-71 and downtown Cleveland, but we did not frequent any restaurants or attractions close to this exit.
Although the room was ready by check-in time (3pm), when we arrived at 1:15 the front desk staff was not friendly or very helpful. She said "our check-in time is 3:00...it's going to be at least another hour." She didn't offer to text or call when the room was ready or offer a place to sit or anything. We just wanted to get in the room and take a short nap. They are re-modeling the rooms and when we finally did get a room at about 2:15 it sounded like they were drilling in the room next-door. It was so loud! The outdoor pool has water in it but is closed. The water is filthy with scum floating in the pool and the fence around it is surrounded by high weeds. What an eyesore!

Hotel has gone downhill since our last stayPosted Jun 3, 2015
The person who checked me in was not that friendly or welcoming. Room was next to large laundry and noisy. In the morning when I got in my shower the water was not even lukewarm. Not comfortable washing hair in that temperature, but had no choice since we had an appointment.Husband called desk and was told they ran out of hot water. Woman who cleaned room was very nice and accommodating. Room did not seem updated, looked shabby. When we checked out was told that they could do nothing because we got our accommodations through Expedia. Will not stay there again and will not use Expedia again.

I was unhappy with the setup of the room with the TV not visible from the built in corner desk section, and the old decor of the hotel, and the fact that the front door to the lobby was not automatic, making it very difficult to enter with lots of luggage.

"Comfort inn" ClevelandPosted Dec 31, 2014
Pros: Room was nice.
Cons: Consistent breakfast and hot coffee.
Location: Close to the airport, and easy access to Pearl Road, and I71 toward downtown or the opposite way to Akron.
The room was spacious and comfortable, and it was nice to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Staff from the front desk managers to the dining area person to the housekeeping people were friendly and accommodating. The location was central to the airport, and to locations in Cleveland that we visited. We slept well in a king size bed, but we realized if the heater was on longer than 4 hours, it would be noisy (did not alert the staff). Free breakfast was better on the weekends than on the weekdays for some reason. All in all, the Inn made our (5) day stay nice. We would return again.

Fine, but pricey for the qualityPosted Oct 27, 2014 on Hotels
It's an older hotel in need of some renovations. A lot of blue collar workers stay here during the week. Some of them smoke and the rooms smell smokey (however, they do have a way of removing the smell in about 20 minutes). Generally, an okay job of cleaning.

Last Stop Before Airport HomePosted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: Shuttle and large king room. Quiet!
Cons: Maybe breakfast for early traveler's. It's served 6:30 to 9 A.M. We left at 5 A.M.
Location: Driving distance to Rock N Roll Hall of Fame downtown Cleveland. Many restaurants nearby. Cleveland/Hopkins Airport about 4 miles.
Roomy and comfortable. We signed up for Shuttle to airport at 5 A.M.. Very nice driver. Would stay there again for convenience of airport shuttle. Staff very helpful. Many restaurants in the area.

Just an ok hotelPosted Sep 21, 2014
Nothing fancy here, but the room was clean and comfortable enough. There are no refrigerators in the rooms and if your on the first floor you have to go to the 2 or 3 for ice. Overall a decent average hotel.
