Disappointed

Pros: Location
Cons: Cleanliness and staff
Location: We came down for the Cleveland Indians home opener and the walk was okay but location was not fun to walk through at night.
Was not impressed with any aspect of the hotel. When the bathroom light was on the fan squeaked loudly. Very thin walls. Extremely small bathroom and lighting.

Pros: Walking distance from most things downtown has to offer. Room was nice enough and clean.
Cons: Could be updated. Was somewhat run down.
Was pleased to find hotel near Quicken Loans arena. It was sufficient for a one night stay and reasonably priced.

Pros: Price and location.
Cons: More welcoming front desk staff. Reliable internet.
Wasn't acknowledged by desk clerk for a few minutes upon check in, internet did not work at all, noisy guests at all hours. On the plus, it's close to downtown.

Wouldn't stay again

Disappointed to say the least. I understand it is an old hotel in downtown Cleveland but for $140 I certainly expected more. Room was incredibly small, bed uncomfortable, paking was a nightmare and continental breakfast was subpar. Front desk people indifferent, not rude but certainly not friendly. I won't stay again and certainly wouldn't recommend it.

Great location close to Playhouse Square. Some construction in progress so expect a few glitches (rough elevators, outdated decor, etc.). Overall a good, inexpensive option downtown. Expect to pay for parking.

Good bang for the buck

Stayed at the Comfort Inn as it was walking distance to Playhouse Square. Free breakfast was amazing as was the fact that the E line trolley (free bus service that goes around most of down town Cleveland) stops at the door. Only stayed 2 days but I'd stay there again.

It was ok. Old. Needs updating staff was ok as well. Probably wouldn't go back unless couldn't find something else.

Good Stay

The room was clean, the bed very comfortable and the staff were very accomodating. Location was perfect too. Would stay again if in the area.

First stay

I booked the hotel the night of arrival after finding out mid-day that my sister was to have surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. We arrived after midnight to a very pleasant and helpful front desk. The hotel is a little dated but was very clean, comfortable and the staff was great. The breakfast was very good and a nice surprise. I would definitely recommend this place and consider it a great value proposition.

Convenient to Cleveland Clinic.

Front Desk staff was very courteous and helpful on check-in. Was not aware they offered a shuttle to Cleveland Clinic. Breakfast was more than sufficient; eggs, sausage, muffins, coffee, juice, yogurt. Have not one complaint.
