The smell of marijuana was in the halls, elevator, and rooms, requested for a room change and was allowed. Was better but the quality and standard of double tree is not the same as years past.

I have stayed here in the past numerous times for work and up unil the last two trips this was always my go to hotel. In the past years you can tell no effort has been placed to update the hotel. Rooms smell, ceilings are cracked and water damaged, floors and elevators floors are sticky, windows have years of crud on them, wall outlets are broken and falling off, garage is too small for driving as well as garage elevator buttons damaged and husted and held together with tape and instead of handsoap hanging on the bathroom sink dispenser, it was conditioner (???). Staff is always friendly and ashane they have tp present these conditions to customers.

First, booked hotel with Expedia and was promised a view of the lake, but that never happened. When we had arrived at the hotel I had told the front desk staff and they told me to complain to Expedia because all their rooms with a view of the lake were booked and that was Expedia's fault for misrepresentation. Second, we stayed for 4 nights and our room was never cleaned or serviced.

My ONLY complaint would be not having free coffee in the lobby. I had to pay $4 at the Starbucks for a black coffee. No room service for a full breakfast.

I liked being so close to the stadium and lake. Didn’t love the shape of the property. It’s really outdated and the wall paper was peeling off on all the walls stains on the carpet made it feel dirty. Water was dripping constantly in the bathroom.

Where do we begin? Gashes in carpet, hairs on restroom floor, only 2 towels provided for an occupancy of 4, had to go 11 floors down to pick them up ourselves. Restuarant closed on a Saturday night, poor and especially impersonal service in lounge. No shuttle available. Parking deck $25 (for what?) that is as filthy as a subway, filthy elevator in parking deck, tiny elevators in hotel...this place is a dump that is 20 years past its prime and showing it. Next time we'll pay a little more and stay elsewhere downtown. Adding: At least the lady at the front desk was nice and welcoming. She deserves accolades because I'm sure she's dealing with a lot.
