“Good value!”
We used the "unpublished" rate and got 2 rooms (albeit on 2 different floors!) for the price of 1! The rooms were a little small, there was quite a bit of furniture in the room (Queen bed, night stands, desk, dresser, ottoman, and free standing closet) which probably made it feel smaller than it really is. The room was very clean and the bathroom was very nice (nice size and very clean!). Although there was a lot going on in the hotel, it was very quite in our rooms! The restaurant closes fairly early but the bar serves the full menu till 10pm or so. The food was a bit pricey but tasted good! I recommend the perch dinner... Yum!
“Great Place To Stay”
Very nice hotel for the money. The staff was very helpful! I would definitely recommend this hotel.
“great location”
Service was great. workers were very fiendly. I was comfortable and safe here.
“Great hotel and friendly, helpful service”
The hotel was great and a few blocks rock and roll hall of fame, science museum and lake. Restaurant was decent but there are not many restaurant options within walking distance (although there is a shuttle which will pick up and drop off throughout the downtown area -- we didn't bother with it since there was no traffic but there were many guests using the service). We were there on the weekend and the downtown area except for the museums was dead!
“Great location and the price is righteous!”
Doubletree Cleveland Downtown-Lakeside is in a great downtown location. Withing walking distance to the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame, Goodtime III cruise, Progressive Field, Quicken Loans Arena, Public Square and the Theatre and Warehouse Districts. What you get for the price can't be beat. Just blocks from Enterprise Car Rental and major highways if you're looking to journey to Cedar Point Park or Canton, etc. Staff couldn't be nicer, very family-friendly. A great experience all-around. Thanks!
“Couldn't have been nicer”
The hotel was lovely, staff pleasant, all was good.
“Excellent for extended stays and Cleveland Clinic visitors”
This recently rebranded Hotel has pulled out all the stops on the level of interior finish. Very chic for its price range. The beds are OH so comfortable! The food in the restaurant and bar is exceptional, which is awesome as the neighborhood has no walkable dining options for dinner. The Hotel's surrounding neighborhood is clean and safe as it is mostly civic office buildings and the convention center. Cleveland Clinic is about a 10 minute drive, but worth it given that the cost is almost half of hotels closer to the Clinic. The hotel offers a free shuttle, but once every 2 hours was not as flexible as I needed. Hotel staff have been courteous and helpful for our 2 week stay.
“Great Hotel”
The hotel was only a couple of blocks from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Science Center, and a couple other tourist attractions. You could walk to them, if you wanted to. It also has a nice bar and grill located on the premises and the food was very good.
“Awesome stay”
As a frequent traveler, I have come to appreciate when a staff goes that little extra mile - smiles, helpful eyes, you know the drill. The Doubletree staff, from Sara and Brad to the bartender and barrista at Starbucks were all first class. The room was big and comfy and clean, and the elevators responsive, though in three days I could never guess which side to turn to for the buttons. When I made my next reservation in Cleveland, it was an automatic return to Doubletree. The lakeside location is terrific, and the walk to downtown is quick and safe. Nice touches all around. Now if we could only do something about the cost of that breakfast buffet! Oh, and the food is terrific...
“We loved it!”
The hotel was awesome and the service was amazing! We will be going back there sometime we had such a great time.
