Comfortable bed and room had great view of downtown. Breakfast buffet was nice. Workout facility was very small and not a great space to get a workout in. The pool looked cloudy.

Pros: The swimming pool was nice and the staff was excellent. They made you feel very welcomed there.
The staff of the hotel were extremely nice but everything else was disappointing. The entrance of the room was extremely tight. The closet and microwave and refrigerator stand were right across from the bathroom and you were unable to open the bathroom door if another person was trying to get something out of the closet because it would hit the person because the space was so small. I also did not like waking up to a bill slip underneath the door. They state that you can do easy checkout from the phone in your room but this was not the case for me. I tried doing that and only received a busy signal. I normally stay at the Holiday Inn and wish I would have stayed there this trip. The money that I saved booking this hotel over the Holiday Inn, I spent on items that are complimentary at every Holiday Inn that I have ever stayed at.

My stay at the Hilton garden Inn

Posted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: it was just OK
Cons: Lots I stated before above .
Location: Lots to do nearby
I can not believe that you have to be charged $25.00 on your credit card. It is really charged and then in a few days they take it off your card. Usually motels just have a card on file to cover any expenses but NEVER charge your card. Well they charge your card then give it back to you a few days later. Never heard of that but when I checked it out that is what they do. Just not run very well at the desk and administration wise. Parking is a mess in the back of the hotel. The arm that goes up and down to keep people from coming and going with out a ticket did not work and many people were parking there for free and yes I had to pay $16. Not happy

As Expected

Cons: The TV was getting intermittent signals and the volume and picture was freezing. I had to roll uphill to get out of bed.
Location: Close to Progressive Field and downtown area. Able to walk almost everywhere.
Hilton always provides consistent quality in their hotels. Had a few issues with cable service when we were there. Clean hotel and helpful staff.

Nice hotel, close to Progressive Field

Posted Oct 1, 2014
Pros: Closeness to Progressive Field.
Cons: Parking
Location: Progressive Field, Quicken Loans Arena, easy in and out access to interstate.
Only issues; Room next to elevator - noisy, and tub was not draining - fixed by maintenance right away.

Wow, splendid experience

Pros: Staff and room amenities. Convenient location to Progressive Baseball staduium.
Cons: I honestly can't think of anything
Location: Its located across the street from Progressive Baseball Stadium and down the street from West Side Market, that is a must see in Cleveland.
My husband and I came to Cleveland for an Indians baseball game and because of the convenient location we choose Hilton Garden Inn. As soon as we walked in, wow beautiful hotel! Glass and dark wood, windows everywhere and a fireplace in the middle. There were tables with coffee and water with lemons in it. The front desk staff was very friendly, he explained all of the hotels amenities and the things in our room, such as adjustable bed and a Krieg coffee maker. We had a frig and microwave. I felt very secure even in downtown Cleveland, we have to use our room key to get in the glassdoors after the game. The next morning we had the buffet breakfast and the waitress ask us if we were enjoying our stay. They staff in the breakfast area was amazing. We will go back during next years baseball season. I should say my husband and I are travelers and I have stayed in some very fine hotels but the staff here just went above some that I have stayed in, in Miami, Orlando, and Fort Lauderdale.

Staff was amazing during my stay. Very welcoming people from the front desk to the breakfast staff in the morning. Def recommend and it's a 2 min walk to progressive field to catch an Indians game
