Great hotel in the heart of downtown ClevelandPosted Jul 25, 2015
My friend and I stayed at this hotel 2 nights for the 2nd annual APMAs at the Quicken Loans Arena. This was my second time staying at this hotel. I decided to stay here again because I really enjoyed it my first time. Once again, it was almost wonderful. I say almost only because when we got back to the hotel room on our second night at almost 1:00 in the morning after being gone since 3:00 pm, our hotel room door was unlocked and cracked open. Thankfully our room had been undisturbed, but it was very alarming to come back to. Breakfast was great and I just love the feel of this hotel. It's very cozy and comforting and a great location within walking distance of most everything downtown Cleveland. It's super close to the Quicken Loans Arena and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame which is perfect because those are the main places we were there for. I will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Hotel!Posted Jul 9, 2015
Cons: It would have been nice to have a bar fridge in the room. Our room didn't have one; not sure if others did. We didn't ask.
Location: Very central. Close to bars, restaurants, and various attractions.
We loved our stay. We visited Cleveland for the first time over the July 4th weekend. I have only good things to say. The staff were friendly and very attentive. Our room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Housekeeping made sure we had all the towels and toiletries we wanted. The building itself is an old bank conversion, which was really cool to see. The buffet breakfast was fantastic, a ton of variety, and well stocked; food service staff were great! The complimentary happy hour on our first day was a great surprise. The hotel is right in the heart of downtown. Very close to great bars and restaurants. Short walk to the Rock and Roll HOF/Waterfront, casino and arenas. We will definitely be staying at this hotel on our next trip into Cleveland, and we would highly recommend it to anyone we know who will be travelling there.

Beautiful Old Building - Perfect Location!Posted Jun 24, 2015
Pros: Spacious rooms, very friendly staff, convenient location
Cons: A bit more hallway noise due to the hardwood floors but wasn't noticed by anyone in my family but me, the light sleeper.
Location: Great downtown location! Easy to get to and from the expressway. Restaurants, shopping, sports are all within walking distance.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Cleveland and will definitely stay there again. Perfect location to walk to Progressive Field (5 minute walk) and downtown restaurants and shops. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a 15 minute walk from the hotel which can help you save on parking. We loved the architecture of this beautiful old building. Our room (2 queen beds) was VERY spacious with hardwood floors and high ceilings. Plenty of room for our family of four with two teenagers. Check in was easy, staff was very friendly. Housekeeping was finishing up a room across the hall when we arrived (30 minutes before posted check-in) and she very kindly gave us extra towels when she saw there was four of us. The evening manager's reception didn't fit in with our schedule but we would have taken advantage of the complimentary drinks if it had. The free breakfast was typical but perfectly adequate for our needs -typical hot and cold offerings. Staff was very attentive and kept it stocked right up until it ended. My son was hungry when we returned from the game and really appreciated the popcorn and flavored water available in the small lounge by the front desk. A great place to stay if you're headed to a ballgame in Cleveland. Great restaurants are located on 4th Street en route to the baseball and basketball stadiums. Very picturesque (no traffic) street with outdoor seating. Loved it!!

Nice Hotel Close to EverythingPosted Jun 2, 2015
Pros: We liked the location, the friendly staff and the clean and comfortable room. The valet parking is also very convenient. Also, the breakfast!
Location: Great Location! Walking distance to the House of Blues and other restaurants! Close to the Indian's Progressive Field and the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame
My boyfriend and I booked this hotel because we went to the Jason Isbell show at the House of Blues in downtown Cleveland. I didn't realize when I booked it just how close the hotel actually was to the venue, but it was so close we could actually walk to it! The hotel was beyond our expectations. Very clean and cozy. The building is very original and different. The Staff was friendly and helpful! We will definitely stay here again!
