Had the explore package and got free rock hall tickets and real not just continental breakfast. Classy room, great places to eat and the casino all steps away. Staff very friendly. Even let us have room way before check in time no extra charge.

beautiful hotel

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: very clean and well kept
hotel in excellent location downtown. close to horseshoe casino within walking distance. 15-20min walk to the rock and roll hall of fame, which was right by pier. The hotel led into a beautiful arcade with shops. And right behind hotel, loads of really good restaurants and the house of Blues. Did this side trip on my own and felt really safe. The hotel is well kept and very clean

Cleveland Rocks!

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: Close to everything, impeccable service, and large rooms.
Location: Comedy club on 4th St along with many restaurants, Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, Science Center, house of blues, federal reserve bank, theatre district
Hyatt did a great job renovating the historical Arcade. The hotel is housed In this beautiful building that once was a bustling shopping center of boutiques and eateries. There are still a few shops and places to eat, but the majority of the building is now the hotel. We were there through a weekend and saw 3 different wedding reception events. The staff chose rooms for us away from the parties so it was a quiet and relaxing stay. The location puts you in the heart of downtown and within walking distance of so many places. Valet parking was a budget killer, but overall it was a reasonable, affordable stay in luxury!

Great hotel near casino, nightlife and stadium

Posted Jul 20, 2014
This is a beautiful historic hotel as you can see from the pictures. The hotel has everything. It's a 2-3 block walk to the casino and quicken loans arena. Also a strip of bars and restaurants is right across the street. The hotel is very clean and check in was very fast. They also have a very nice fitness center

Beautiful!

Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: The ease of check-in, the front desk staff friendliness, the comfort of the rooms. The Arcade is gorgeous!
Cons: Keep the vending machines stocked. The hotel could benefit from being updated just a little.
Location: Walking distance to Progressive Field, The Q, a variety of restaurants and bars. Across the street from the Cleveland Library.
Beautiful hotel. The front desk staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. The room was very clean and beyond comfortable. I was a little disappointed that the vending machine was empty and I had to go to the floor below for drinks. I would like to see the hotel decor be updated a little--some of the wallpaper was coming loose in our room. We walked around The Arcade which was gorgeous! Not a lot as far as shopping goes, though. We were within walking distance to the Q, Progressive Field and a variety of nice bars and restaurants. For a bigger city, I felt pretty safe in this area.

Great location, close to everything

Very nice hotel but we stayed in one of the older rooms. The first time we flushed the toilet, it stopped up. Called maintenance, they installed some part to allow the toilet to flush. Left the hotel and returned at 1am, flushed the toilet and water started gushing everywhere. Had to use every thing we could find to soak up the water until maintenance came. Had to make another call to housekeeping to clean everything. We made every effort to avoid the bathroom until we checked out. Valet parking was a bit slow also. My husband got a 15 min start to get the car. When we came down, he was still waiting. At least 3 people kept asking him for the ticket number while I was standing there after the 15 min head start. We waited another 10 min and the car finally arrived. All of this and we still managed to have a decent stay.

Disappointed in Hyatt Regency - Cleveland, Ohio

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: The pillows.
Cons: Paying more attention to requests.
Location: East 4th street was great.
Did not receive a smoking room as requested. Electrical outlet did not work, lamp did not work, door would not latch shut, hot water handle on bathroom sink fell off, vent fan in bathroom did not work. Ice and vending machines poorly located. Basically, if I wanted this type of room I would have stayed at a Super 8 Hotel.

Nice hotel close to stadium & Rock Hall of Fame

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Beautiful hotel, great staff and clean rooms. We checked in really late; close to midnight. Staff held the room, gave us a rundown of the accommodations at the hotel for the next morning, offered to take out luggage up- just as they would if we showed up during normal hours. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Love the vintage feel of the hotel with modern touches!
