“Great Stay, Great Value”

The room was very clean and the hotel appeared updated in the lobby and in the room which included a nice flat screen tv. Staff was very accommodating and beds were comfortable. Service was timely and unobtrusive. I would definitely return and recommend this hotel.

This isn't a new hotel, but is kept very clean and has everything you need. It doesn't take long to get into Cleveland city center--on weekends.

“Good location”

Close to downtown Cleveland and airport areas. Restaurants and Interstate nearby. Cozzy rooms. I had one broken light bulb in room, not big deal.

“Very impressed with the Independence area”

One thing about staying in Independence is you seem to be close to everything. Not a lot of stop lights to slow you down. All kinds of different places to have your lunch or dinner, ten minutes and I'm in downtown Cleveland. We have used the La Quinta for a number of years, even before it was called La Quinta, and yes, we keep going back. Only when it's full, do we go elsewhere. We like three Hotels in Independence and always can get a room in one of them.

Area recommendations

In the summer, we like to go down Canal Road and have a picnic in the park. Always wish I had a bicycle to ride the trail along the Canal.

“Not frill Hotel, but Clean and Friendly”

Hotel stay was satisfactory. Clean and friendly. Have to give the hotel a positive feedback concerning our last night, though. Flash storm caused a power outage for the whole area from 5pm til 2am. The hotel made it right even though it wasn't their fault.

“Great customer service”

When we arrived the person at the desk was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. I liked the desk workspace. And when my mothers surgery was cancelled, they were very helpful when we had to cancel the rest of our stay. Will use again when we go back for my mothers surgery. The only complaint is that the walls are thin. We could hear people talking in the next room. I would recommend that they book every other room if the hotel isn't full.

None. Were only there to go to the spine institue. Did not go anywhere but Applebees and it was just ok.
