“NIce hotel”

Friendly staff, very clean hotel, nice pool, good breakfast buffet (adult price was a little more than I anticipated, but can't really complain as my children ate for free). Really not that far from mall and other restaurants. Although I do wish it were a little more central to these attractions.

Area recommendations

Area closer to the mall/venues we needed to get to. Even though we were not far from the mall and the other venues we needed to be, it was inconvenient to keep getting on the Interstate.

“Pleasant Surprise”

WE have passed this hotel many times on our way to various events in Cleveland but had never stayed there. What a surprise how nice and big it really was. We got lost a few times but the people at the front desk were very Friendly and one guy even guided walked with us to make sure we went the right direction. We were a little disappointed that the parking for park and fly was not free as was stated in the description. There is really a per day charge but that is still cheaper than most park and fly garages. The chef at the breakfast buffet was very good. Be sure check to make sure it is included in your room....it is well worth it. The waiter and the van drivers were ever friendly too and very efficient.

The hotel really has 2 buildings so if you have a room that is higher than the 4th floor you might need to check to make sure you are in the bigger building.

“Marriott - Cleveland”

Booking with Expedia was a great experience, when we arrived at the hotel there were no problems with check in. Overall had no problems during our stay. However, at check out some valuable items (about $150 worth personal items) were missing from our room and neither hotel management or housekeeping management were unwilling to do anything to remedy the situation. So my recommendation is that if you stay at this hotel, keep all of your valuables with you whenever you leave your room.

“Would stay again”

The shuttle service from the airport was very prompt. Remember to save their contact info unfo upon arrival. It can't hurt to let them know you have arrived. We used the RTA from the local station for transport into the Cleveland area. The Marriott shuttle again provided prompt service to and from the local RTA station. TIP: If going RTA, you may want to use the airport RTA station as the closer station to Marriott is under renovation and lots of steps to the track. The room was very nice & clean and as advertised. They do not have a GREEN policy so you may want to post something on the door if you do not need daily service. Pool area nice and clean as the pics indicate. The food/bar is expensive but you do get quality if you can get over the small portions. There is a Denny's within walking distance so you may want to check that out. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would stay there again if in the Cleveland area.

“Nice place near airport”

The staff was very nice - offering free shuttles to the rapid transit station nearby ( the hotel is far from downtown) and tot the airport. The lobby restaurant was surprisingly good! Good business hotel.

Area recommendations

GO see the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum. It is incredible! Lolas' Resaurant downtown provides a great meal - celebrity chef and service and room were all top-notch

“Very nice hotel”

We stayed at the Marriott for 4 nights in February of 2010. Check in was very fast, parking was conventient. Sixth floor room was clean and quiet. Location was close to the airport, and only 15 minutes from downtown. Enjoyed the fitness center. Staff was courteous and friendly.
