Downtown Cleveland

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Free wifi, clean comfortable rooms.
Cons: Elevators are slow.
Location: Quicken Loans arena across the street, nearby 4th street dinning. Short walk to plaza downtown and terminal tower.
Hotel was chosen for Cleveland Games for soccer team. Was conveniently located downtown and was less expensive than nearby hotels.

Hotel met our needs

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: More maids on busy weekend
Location: Close to the ball park
The room still had some pop corn on the floor ans our room had no maid service on Sunday (we were out of the room till 5.30) when I complained I was told they had been very busy. I had to go to the front desk to get shampoo to freshen up for the evening

Near the ballpark, Overall good

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Beds and room were good.
Cons: Sunday afternoon, more people on valet. Wireless access weak, sometimes non existent.
Location: Great location for ease of access to both professional baseball and basketball arenas.
Only one issue... paid for valet, stayed two nights. Worked out with the guys in front that I'd pick up my car after the baseball game. Being a Sunday late afternoon, there was only one person working valet. When the game ended, caused a rather large backup at the valet for the hotel (one person, running to the lot, then having difficulty navigating the traffic back to the hotel...due to the game letting out). Overall liked the hotel, wireless was not exceptionally strong. Told by the front desk to use one 'network', when other networks ended up having better strength.

Great location but check-in process was SLOW.

Posted Aug 4, 2014
We were in town for an Indians game - Jim Thome day. Check-in time was 4 p.m. and the lobby was full of people. There was only one hotel clerk to handle all of the guests. Many guests said they arrived early and checked in but the rooms were not ready. I saw several guests come back down to the lobby stating their keys cards didn't work. Lots of frustrated people b/c of the slow check-in. Even though we had reservations, it took the clerk about 15 minutes per person. The hotel was in a great location, clean, with a good breakfast buffett, and we would stay again.

Great place to stay when going to ballpark!

Posted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Professional staff and close to stadium.
Cons: N/A
Location: Stadium two blocks, few blocks away tour a submarine fee to tour but free parking - near the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Check in took minutes - pleasant. Walk to ballpark was less than 10 minutes...some restaurant/bars nearby easy to find when arriving from out of state. Valet parking was a nice perk as well.
