“great room for a weiry traveler”

room was very clean,the staff was very cheery,and the breakfast was a little blah! but overall it was a good stay.

“Ohio's Best Hotel”

The room was cleaned, room service for clean towels, etc., everyday, Helped us with directions. Fresh breakfast everyday. Employees were gracious to us.

“Right for the price”

We were looking for a short stop on a long drive and the hotel met the requirement. It was clean and comfortable, with a nice little pool to splash around in after a long day of driving. The room was large and comfortable. The free internet was also a nice bonus. Overall a good room for the price.

“Everything we were hoping for”

We were looking for an inexpensive place to stay not far from Oberlin, and this hotel filled the bill. We paid so little for it, that we feared the worst. But the room was spotless, with no odors, and a comfortable bed. Very friendly staff gave us a great recommendation on where to eat dinner. The pool was small but clean (and reasonably warm). The breakfast was OK.

“Week-end stay.”

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was adequate but additional fruit choices may have helped.

“Not too Shabby in Elyria”

While the hotel was a little older, some efforts have gone into renovating it. The rooms are a bit dated, but everything was comfortable. The staff was excellent, and very helpful. The surrounding area was typical Elyria business-park, but getting to the hotel itself was a bit of a pain the first time (not a big deal once we figured it out). I don't know that there's a better value in the area!

“Okay for an inexpensive room”

I needed a cheap room for an an overnight stay and decided to give this hotel a try. It has been quite a while since my room had been remodeled, it had a small bathroom, but it was clean and the bed was fine. Fortunately the people in the neighboring were quiet, so I have no complaints with noise. I would stay here again, but would have to find a newer hotel if my wife was traveling with me. FWIW my Magellan GPS took me right to it, but my daughter's TomTom left her about a quarter mile away on the wrong side of a divided highway. Look for Lowes - the hotel is adjacent to the Lowes parking lot.

“Red Roof Elyria”

I need to qualify this review and rating - I paid little for the room and we didn;'t stay long, got in at 11, left at 10 the next day. My expectations were not in line with a suite at the four seasons. It was conveniently located between Cleveland and Cedar Point. It was easy to find off the highway. Front desk staff were helpful. Continental breakfast was great. Vehicle was safe in lot. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool. Wifi worked fine. Negatives: Sofa bed mattress was ratty, but sheets were in the room. No shower curtain (or curtain wasn't long enough) so floor got very wet, must have been an oversite. NO ESPN or NICKELODEON

“Nice place for the money”

Front desk clerk was very friendly and nice. We arrived late in the evening on a snowy night and there was coffee in the lobby...which was a nice surprise. Was a little disappointed that the pool did not have a hot tub, was looking forward to warming up in one. Very nice breakfast area outside of the pool, and good breakfast that came with the room.

“Not Bad!!”

Needing a place to sleep on my way back from summer vacation -- and also traveling with two cats -- I selected the RRI in Elyia, OH. When I checked in, I was initially hesitant about the bullet proof check in window, but entering the lobby put me at ease. Friendly helpful staff, who gave me a suite upgrade, and a clean and comfortable room makes this hotel a keeper in my book. The toiletries are basic, breakfast a carb feast, and location typical, but bed was VERY comfortble, room very clean and well appointed. There were some shady teen types who insisted on propping the side entrance open, but I put on my school teacher persona, and told the front desk,and they were delt with quickly. I would stay there again!!!
