Bad hotel in Cleveland

The hotel was overpriced and when we got there we were told the pool was closed for the weekend. We didn't know this we booked so we were very frustrated. Also, there was an altercation next door from our room with two drink guest who won't stop yieling and coursing at each other for over 20 mins in the hallway. I had to call the hotel security twice so they send someone to stop them. Me and my kids were scared the whole time.

Upon our arrival we could not find a place to park. The deck was full and no valet to be found . Our room was small and damp. We found trash under our bed from whomever was their before. Called the front desk several times w no answer. Just not a good experience

Good, friendly service!

Pros: All help customer friendly. Room very clean. Hotel lobby bar and area to view square. Even though it was under construction. Closeness to Horseshoe.
Cons: The heating and cooling system is old. It worked ok but had to be altered for comfort. There was no shuttle service to another venue.
We had a very good experience. All we met were customer friendly.

great stay But......

Stay was great good location clean room all you would expect. Staff was accommodating and friendly. There was one incident that really put a cloud over this weekend. We were in town for Indians Game, we stayed Saturday night and Sunday night. Sunday night we had ordered a sandwich from room service (which was great BTW). While we were waiting for the sandwich we heard something at the door, I thought it was knocking to my surprise a stranger walked into our room! using a key he was given by front desk. The man was just as shocked as we were, and he quickly departed apologizing on the way out, just a moment later our food arrived and we went ahead and ate perhaps we were still in shock over what just happened. five minutes later the night manger called and explained a mistake had been made (no kidding) as that man had the same name as I did and so he was given a key to our room. She also apologized and said if we needed anything to call. the next morning we checked out and we talked to manager and he took incidentals off of our bill. I didn't really care about that so much although it was kind. the real issue here is security,what if we had been out or sleeping or whatever? surely they must have a way to verify who they are giving keys to? I do like the hotel but I cannot bring myself to stay there again. Oh and lesson here is always flip the security bar.
