“Great Hotel”
Great Hotel, friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble.
“A nice hotel with an extremely friendly staff”
A very nice hotel built inside a historic building in downtown Cleveland. I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly the staff was. Everyone from the housekeeping staff, to the parking lot attendant, to the person who cleared my table at the complementary breakfast. Which by the way, was much more than the usual "continental" breakfast of pastries and juice provided by many hotels. It was a full, all-you-can-eat buffet! The hotel is walking distance from most downtown attractions. It is especially perfect if you are attending an NBA or MLB game as the basketball arena and baseball stadium are a block away. The only drawback that I found is the layout of the hotel. To fit within the confines of the historic building it is housed in, some of the rooms can be a fair distance from the front, and only, entrance. However, this is a very small price to pay for the preservation of such a beautiful building.
“good cleveland hotel”
Great hotel for an easy walk to the Quicken Loans arena or Progressive Field. Whenever my husband and I go to a Cleveland game, that is our hotel of choice. It's convenient and the price is great.
“Good hotel”
Clean, comfortable hotel. Near the progressive field.

“Would Stay Again”
Hotel had a great breakfast and friendly breakfast staff, they even change the item selection day to day so you don't have the same old. Stayed in 2 bedroom Suite, which was great for 2 couples.
“Good Hotel, Excellent Location”
The Residence Inn by Marriott on prospect Ave is a good hotel, but not a great hotel. Its beiigest draw is its location on Prospect Ave in the city center right across the street from The Q and close to everything downtown. The service was excellent, another strong point of the hotel. Unfortunately, while we were there the hot water went out. Hot water is one of the basic things I expect when I stay in a hotel. I explained this to the staff and they were happy to accomodate. The rooms are set up as suites. There is a sitting room with a tv, a kitchenette and a seperate bedroom. The style/decorum of the rooms is dated, but the rooms are clean and pleasant. There is an additional fee to park in the garage, even for hotel guests. The hotel features a wonderful restaurant, an fitness room and a billiards room. All in all, the service and the location make this a nice place to stay, but it falls short on the wow factor that you get at more upscale hotels.
“Great Location”
Went to Cleveland for a sports weekend and this hotel was in the perfect spot. Less then a 5 minute walk to the baseball stadium and basketball arena. Twenty minute walk to football stadium and rock and roll hall of fame. Nearby bars are great, good food, great beer, blues club close by. Access to fitness club a nice touch and the billiards room was a surprise. The path to some of the rooms can be a little trick and confusing. Included breakfast had a great variety and food was fresh. Would go back.
“Just okay”
Hotel was okay for overnight stay. Went there to see Christmas Carol at the Ohio Theatre. This hotel was convenient because it was in walking distance to everything. Room was large and basically clean. Front desk was nice. It was all in all a okay hotel for the money.
“Not impressed”
The hotel doesnt have an area for pets in or around the hotel, but rather two blocks away next to the Quicken Arena and everytime I had to take my dog out to potty, I was bombarded with people asking for money. I had reserved two rooms. Both rooms were somewhat clean but the bed/sofa bed in both rooms were well worn. One of the bathrubs had a black ring around it and soap scum in the soap dish. I called to have it cleaned but was told that housekeeping was very busy and not sure when they could get to it. I was reimbursed the parking fee as compensation for this inconvenience. The most helpful person there was a custodian who gave us a history of the hotel, some sites to see and was just an all-around great guy. The saving grace was the excellent breakfast buffet--which had a wide variety of breakfast foods, cereals, already cooked oatmeal, a waffle iron, several juices, various fruits, The hotel is next to lots of good restaurants right around the corner but I was amazed at the number of panhandlers asking for money. All in all, I'd probably stay there again if I have to stay in the downtown aread but would not take a pet againn in the winter time.
