Downtown Hotel

Posted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Needs bigger trash cans. One giant suite with two little trash bins does not work. Also, the mini-fridge on the ground was not big enough.
I was pleased with my suite over the weekend. It is located in a perfect area and has many restaurants and bars around! I was pleased that it was a quiet suite on the 14th floor, but there were a few factors I disliked about my suite. One giant suite with two little trash bins does not work. Also, the mini-fridge on the ground was not big enough for more than a small case of beer.

Nice for downtown events

Posted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: Good presentation at the front desk. Clean indoor pool.
Cons: Update bathrooms, TV and furniture.
Location: Should focus on improving shuttle service with one more vehicle and more frequent runs due to distances to major venues.
Courteous desk service and room was ready upon early afternoon arrival. Nice touch to text valet, so we didn't have to wait at the front door.

Cleveland Playsquare

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Location, Staff, Cleanliness
Cons: Turn up the temperature of the hot tub and fill the water level properly
Location: Amazed by Cleveland. Great architecture, 4th street dining, Indians - Browns games, shopping, theater, walkable.
Hotel was very nice. Great Staff. Very Accommodating. Nice Rooms. We stayed because of the Hot Tub which when we went in it the temperature was not very warm and the water level was low.

Good location for sporting events

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: I liked the location.
Cons: The Hotel is not fresh and could use a make over. It is clean just a little worn.
The hotel is in a good location for all sporting events. Only a couple of blocks from basketball and baseball stadiums. Also a good location for plays and other cultural events. A short walk on Euclid Ave and you can find several places to eat and drink. 4th street and Euclid is a short walk and it is a street full of night life and entertainment. The casino is at the end of Euclid Ave. It is a several blocks away but not a bad walk.

Nice Hotel , convenient location.

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: The location was great, the rooms were very comfy, and the staff was very helpful.
Cons: The rooms could use a little TLC in some areas, and a snack shop would be welcomed.
Location: Theaters, Baseball, Basketball, Dining, are all a short walk from the hotel.
It was our first stay at this hotel and my wife and I were pleased with the location, comfort, and helpfulness of the staff. The room was very comfortable and clean. We will stay here again.

When we first arrived at this hotel, we thought it looked like a good find-- pleasant desk staff, nice marble lobby-- but upon entering our room, realized that was not the case. First thing we noticed when we opened the door was the huge brown stain In the middle of the carpet. We covered it up with one of the towels so we wouldn't step on this mystery spot. The room smelled musty like it used to be a smoking room perhaps. The hair dryer was the weakest dryer I've ever used-- I ended up air drying my hair as it was about as effective. Lastly, the tv was not working. 3/4 of the screen showed up in neon purple coloring. At least they had 12:00 checkout.

Cleveland Downtown

Posted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Not to much that the hotel could do about amenities around
Location: Unless it was due to reconstruction nothing seem to be opened past 5pm even restaurants closed early, the 1 coffee shop around closed at 9pm
Hotel was in a great central location. Only issue was that they seem to roll up the streets at 5pm, it was the theatre district, after the show was over there was no place to go.

Pros: great bed and bedding
no fridge in room, toilet handle had to be jiggled to prevent it from running, could use some tile repair in bathroom

Serviceable Hotel

Posted Jul 18, 2014
Location: We went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Staff were not discourteous, but they were always distracted with other calls or customers. The suite was well presented, but the tub had some hair clogging the drain that caused the tub to fill up quickly while showering even though the drain was open. After that, I was never fully confident that the bathroom had been carefully cleaned. Too often there were people sitting outside the main entrance smoking. This was unpleasant to walk through, although I was happy the hotel was a smoke-free facility. The king bed was comfortable, as were the pillows. The free internet was slow. It was an okay experience, not bad, not great.
