A decent family hotelPosted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: Location, Cleanliness
Cons: Need a full glass door/curtain in the Bathroom so that water does not spill during shower.
Location: Superstore, good restaurants and metro stations nearby.
We read many bad reviews in regards to the check-in time and hotel staff, but we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived for check-in at around 1:30 PM. The gentle man (sorry I forgot his name, he is from Kenya originally) who was at the reception, said that although the check-in starts at 3PM he will give us the room as soon as it gets ready, he took our luggages and kept it in a secured room! We went for a short stroll, grabed some sandwitches and got back to see that rooms are ready (he gave us two apartments beacause we were four!). The apartments were clean, cozy and equipped with a decent kitchenette. Though it was not in the heart of the city(which was good because it was not touristry) but a supernmarket and the metro station were right in front of the hotel! We loved our three noght stay there, we checked out at 5 AM in the morning, reception was open 24 hours!

The hotel was fine. Had a nice grocery store across the street and was very close to the metro. Lots to eat in the area. Nice to have a fridge in the room. We even had a small balcony which was nice.

Good deal in good locationPosted Apr 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
The rent was so affordable for my family of 4. Great location with Metro just downstairs. Three supermarkets around the area allowed us to cook dinner in the apartment.

Like office block but comfortablePosted Apr 14, 2014
Stayed 4 nights, a bit far from Paris centre in not so pretty neighbourhood but inexpensive and metro just 1 minute and big supermarket just opposite. A few restaurants near - a pizza place etc. Sofa bed a little squeaky but fine, room quite small but quiet, bathroom and little kitchen both vg, even a mini dishwasher. Good lift. Reception area looks like an office - needs paintings, flowers, free tea/coffee machine, free water dispenser, a comfy chair or two! Decoration in corridors not so good - needs a coat of paint!

Great Place to Stay Near Paris!Posted Apr 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
This was a great little hotel and the front desk staff was phenomenal - especially the gentleman who works the afternoon shift! The hotel is located within 2 mins walking to a grocery store, metro station and 5 mins walking to a park where we jogged each morning. It was only a 10 min ride on the metro into the heart of Paris and only 1/3 of the cost to stay there. We highly recommend Clichy as a location to stay if you're visiting Paris! The only downside of the trip: We stayed 7 nights here and the the internet was down for 5 of them. All of the Appart'City hotels were down. The nearby McDonald's had free wi-fi but it was a hassle to walk over there every time we needed to look up something.

Great value for moneyPosted Apr 12, 2014 on Hotels.com
This is a really good value for money appart'hotel. The sofa bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in and the kitchen was well-equipped, with a stylish bathroom. I liked the area too, I've never stayed out of central Paris so it was nice to explore the outer areas. Very close to the metro too so good for getting into town.

Great Paris locationPosted Apr 12, 2014
Cons: communication if booking through Expedia
Location: All Paris
Be aware if booking through Expedia as on the first night I was told the apartment I had booked for 5 nights, two months ago, had been over booked. As a result I was given a single room at the local Kyriad Hotel 5 minutes away and not really given an explanation as to how the double booking could have occurred. I was told it was 3 star but the standards were clearly very different! When I checked into the apartment the next day, it was great. Handy location, with useful supermarket across the road. The room smelt a little bit stuffy/pongy but the apartment itself was clean enough. My noisy- springy sofa bed was replaced with a new, comfortable double bed on my second day - a nice surprise to return back to. Would stay again.
