Comfortable hotel but starting to show its age

Pros: Location close to my office (but not much else to do). One of the few 4-star hotels in this area.
Cons: General appearance of rooms and floors.
Location: Not a lot. Catch the metro and go downtown.
Stayed here occasionally over the last 5 years (average twice a year) and the place is starting to feel a little worn. Small tv with bad reception. Small gym with four older pieces of equipment. corridors and general appearance of the floors showing signs of the no doubt heavy usage this hotel gets. Restaurant and bar area have been overhauled though and feel fresh again. One great improvement over the years is the staff. Really make you feel like you're a guest and that nothing is too much to ask.

Dear Pascal, We would like to thank you for your feedback following your stay in our hotel. We would like to guarantee you that our management do invest regularly in our hotel. In 2011, we have redesigned the ground floor as you saw: DOOR’S Restaurant and Bar; and a brand new reception to improve our guest experience at check inn. In 2012, we have refurbished the entire 550 m² meeting area. Since last year, we are replacing carpet and refreshing wall paint in all our bedrooms. We have already done at least 90% of them and should have finish by the end of the first trimester. Our investment will carry on in the future. Like next year, we will open a new restaurant area to carry on improving guest experience in that aspect. Regarding TVs and TV choice are including in a fully refurbishment of room during the next 2 years. We are pleased to see that you appreciate our staff service and we will share with them your nice comment. We also would like to thank you for your loyalty and we hope that we will you soon again. 내 생애 최악의 호텔

주변환경이 좋지 않았다. 밤에 돌아다니기 위험하고 지하철역이 다소 멀어 불편했다. 청소하는 분이 노크도 하지 않고 방에 불쑥 들어와서 잠이 몇번이나 깼다. 체크아웃시간이 12시인데 11시에 들어와서 왜이렇게 늦게 나가냐고 불평했다. 6박에 2100USD를 지불했는데 엄청 비싸고 위치 좋지 않고 서비스가 나쁜 호텔이다.

Regarding the high rate, you came during an high season of the year in Paris, but i can suggest also to compare our rates with the 4 stars hotels average rates in Paris. The hotel was super clean and the wifi was reliable and fast. The staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

다시는 겪고 싶지 않은 호텔

이번 유럽 여행을 하면서 총 4개의 호텔을 이용했습니다. 홀리데이인은 한국으로 돌아오기 전 마지막 머무른 곳이죠. 체크인을 하고 방으로 갔을 때 비록 방은 크지 않았지만 깔끔해 보였습니다. 많은 호텔을 이용해 보면서 홀리데이인은 전세계적으로 알려진 곳이라 만족할거라 생각했습니다. 하지만 욕실을 들어가면서 상황이 완전히 바뀌었죠. 욕실에 들어가자마자 노숙자 몸에서 나는 냄새가 진동했습니다. 아무리 팬을 틀어도 다음 날 체크아웃 할 때까지 사라지지 않았죠. 그리고 욕조를 제외한 다른 곳에는 하수구가 없어서 씻으면서 세어나온 물은 그대로 객실 카페트로 스며들었습니다. 냉장고에는 물한병 없어서 6층에서 500ml짜리 생수를 2유로를 주고 자판기에서 사 먹고, 객실에 슬리퍼가 없어서 신발은 신지 않고는 이용할 수 없었죠. 프랑스의 호텔이라 와인이 중요하다고 생각됐는지 냉장고 온도가 10℃로 설정되어 있어서 시원한 물과 맥주 조차 즐길 수 없었습니다. 지하철에서도 거리가 제법 있어서 5분 넘게 걸어야 했죠. 파리에 다시 간다면 이 호텔은 다시는 이용하고 싶지 않습니다. 그 가격으로 차라리 시내에 다른 호텔을 이용하는게 낫죠.

Gutes Hotel für Anreisende per Auto oder Bahn

Das Hotel hat eine gute Verkehrsanbindung sowohl für Autofahrer als auch für Zugreisende. Das Auto steht sicher in der Tiefgarage und zur Metrostation sind es fußläufig 5 Minuten. Die Zimmer sind hervorragend ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Empfehlenswert ist es, das Frühstück mit zu buchen, um so gestärkt Paris erkunden zu können. Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Rezeption ist englischsprachig, zum Teil sind auch Deutschkenntnisse vorhanden.

Great Service

Thanks to all of the staff at the Holiday Inn Clichy - I was only in town for a one day business meeting so I arrived late and needed help with taxi's/directions to a local meeting location. The staff were all very helpful and my lack of French did not hold back any help from the staff - all spoke great English and did everything they could to be of assistance. Rooms were clean and of a good size (for Paris)
