You get what you pay for

Pros: The breakfast buffet was fantastic. Nice pool, too. Great place to stay if you have children.
Cons: The hotel is dark. It seems oppressive.
Location: Plenty of dining choices within minutes of the hotel.
Clean. Good beds. Older hotel needs to be brightened up. The noise and cigarette smoke from the guests was bad enough for me to have to call the front desk.

Pros: CLOSE TO FAIRGROUNDS.
CLOSE TO THE STATE FAIRGROUNDS, BUT HOTEL IS OLD AND OUT OF DATE. OUR ROOM WAS FACING AN ENCLOSED COURT SO THAT IN OUR ROOM THEREWAS ONLY LIGHT FROM THE LAMPS . VERY DARK IN THE COURT AND NOT VERY INVITING.

Too expensive for the room

Posted Aug 13, 2014
Pros: Breakfast bar
Cons: lower cost for type of hotel
Location: state fair
Had wrong room, apparently when you reserve online information is lost. The bed, and shower, etc were a disappoint for the cost. I have never paid 170$ for a room and was expecting a better one.

Best Western State Fair Inn

Posted Jun 27, 2014
Pros: the breakfast and good TV.
Cons: Need weather stripping along doors to prevent draft.
Location: Location was good.
The overall room was clean but air conditioner didn't work well at all. this made it difficult to sleep good. The TV was very good. they also need weather stripping along the door since it lets in a nice draft. That may be why the air conditioner didn't work well. the humidity was high as well. Hopefully they get it fixed. Otherwise the beds were comfortable enough. The breakfast was decent with eggs, sausage, bacon and fresh fruit.

Over priced hotel taxes.

Posted Jun 8, 2014
After hotel taxes, we ended up almost paying 100.00, more than what we expected to pay. Not very happy about that. Room was not worth that much.

Pros: convenient. close to where we needed to go.
Cons: toilet and bath/shower area, are barely big enough to get into. You definitely have to open the door all the way. No exhaust!
Location: Everything was pretty cramped, even the table by the bed
This hotel was ok for the price. It seems like you don't get much for a hotel anymore.
