Hotel run down. Old food left in fridge. Wanted non smoking room, got a smoky smelling one.

Pleasantly surprisedPosted Jul 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
We were quite concerned when we pulled in as the outside is a little run down. We opened the door expecting the worst and was completely surprised when we walked in. The room was SPOTLESS. The beds were comfy and everything worked just like it should. The night manager was nice and let me park my truck/trailer right in front of the office. The Mexican restaurant next door is very good too.

Right on the highway from BloomingtonPosted May 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
The econolodge was a last minute replacement for the hotel I had planned to use in Bloomington. It was a pleasant drive with very easy navigation, right on the main road. The room was clean and comfortable, as well as very reasonably priced. The breakfast was satisfactory, and the staff went substantially out of their way to make sure I had the best and easiest drive back to Bloomington. They were also very courteous and friendly. Except for moving the whole shebang closer to Bloomington (in which case they might not have had room for me on graduation weekend) I cannot think of a way my visit could be better.

Decent PlacePosted May 4, 2014
This hotel is decent for what it is. A cheap stay and serves as a place to rest your head. Breakfast is mediocre but other than that, it's decent.

CreepyPosted Apr 5, 2014
Cons: Tear it down.
We drove up and there were no cars in the parking lot. The place looked dirty and abandoned. We couldn't tell if it was opened. It looked creepy. I envisioned a desk clerk with rotting teeth, bad breath, and a snarl, welcoming me with a "You can check in any time you want, but you may never leave."Rather than risk the potential for entering into a plot line in a cheesy horror film, we drove off to find better amenities, knowing that we had lost the money paid for a room. Do not book a room here. Seriously. I'm warning you. It is the worst hotel I have even seen.
The heater kicked on all night long...Posted Mar 31, 2014
And never warmed the room. The room had been repainted bit holes weren't patched and was already peeling in the bathroom. The furniture was full of stains and looked like they had never been cleaned. I wouldn't have stayed if I wasn't so tired.. Unfortunately I was woke by tye room heater all night but it never got warm.
