“disappointed”
PRICE AIN'T EVERYTHING. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. There must have been a hole through the wall a/c unit through which dozens of flies came, the whole time we were there. The stool in the bathroom was not fixed to the floor. We ordered a non-smoking room, and the room smelled like it had had only smokers. There were not enough electrical outlets even for all the amenities they had added (microwave oven, coffee pot and refrigerator.) You had to decide which one could be plugged in or not in a two hole socket. The motel wasn't designed for all the extra stuff, including plugging in a lap top computer! The bed smelled pretty bad (like old tobacco) and left its odor on the clothing we laid on the bed spread; when we packed the stuff to the car, it transferred this horrible smell to the car, and then to our luggage! The motel door opened onto a high step, which was 7 inches above the ground. Both of us in walking out, nearly tripped and fell down. We had forgotten the step was there, and were used to ground level motel doorways. Speaking of doorways, the front door had evidently been replaced, and did not fit the door jamb, so that one of the main inside locks was completely useless. Just out of curiosity, I checked out the indoor swimming pool. No pump was running, the water was filmy, and the float rope which separates the deep from the shallow was broken and floating around. It did not look inviting at all. I would never recommend this motel to anyone!!
