Quiet and CleanPosted Jul 17, 2015
Pros: Clean, modern, quiet. Good wifi.
Cons: Provide faceclothes.
Location: If walking there is little in the immediate area for attractions other than the river. Access to airport 20 minutes by cab with little traffic.
Easy walk from Dalmuir train station and 20 minute cab ride to airport. Hotel attached to a hospital. Not close to downtown or other attractions. Sits on the banks of River Clyde and we watched some ships heading out to sea while having lunch in the restaurant. Food and setting very nice. Also found a nice Indian restaurant in easy walking distance. Room very modern and similar to North American style. Wifi easy to access and very fast.

Only place available in GLasgow for funeralPosted Jul 15, 2015
Pros: Quality of rooms good.Food and wine reasonable
Cons: Clean up dried vomit immediately outside front door.Booked taxi for next day funeral but when it did not arrive reception denied responsibilty
Location: Nothing mentioned about not being able to smoke in grounds-extensive
Felt out of place without crutches or wheelchair.Hospital overshadows hotel but extraordinarily the presence of slot machines selling Mars bars were everywhere despite all the pressure to reduce NHS spending due to obesity

No Free Shuttle = $100.00 extra cost incurredPosted Jul 14, 2015
Pros: View of water. quiet
Cons: Attitude of staff. Information about Free Airport Transportation was a joke = no Airport transportation offerred. Hotel NOT 0.26k from Airport
Location: No info
Booked hotel as they stated there was a complementory shuttle service from Glasgow Airport to hotel..."free airport transportation" but only if you book 2 weeks in advnce and even then sounded doubtful, so I paid 28 pounds (about 60 dollars) from Airport to hotel and twenty pounds to return the next morning as hotel was a 20 minute ride from the Airport. Suddenly this hotel was not a bargain. OK fitness facilities with boiling hot pool so swimming difficult. Receptionists seemed to want to talk between themselves rather than with customers. Hotel OK, but would not stay again.

Just an OK place.Posted Jul 12, 2015
The Hotel is attached to a hospital so it is set up more as a conference center than a travelers hotel. I'm not sure if that would have changed my mind about booking there but it would have been nice to know. The room was a little worn but clean. The tub did not drain properly. I asked for boarding passes as I checked out and the young man printed them for us... on one sheet of paper. Two travelers sharing a double sided boarding pass? We reprinted at airport. Just an OK place.

LovelyPosted Jul 7, 2015
Phoned the hotel on morning of arrival to request an early check in, and Sarah couldn't have been more helpful. We checked in - room 305 - and were pleasantly surprised. The room was large and spacious, with more than enough storage, tea & coffee facilities, large bed, Mac keyboard, TV etc. Even had a lovely view of the river & gardens. Didn't get the chance to use the leisure facilities this time, but they looked lovely . . .just need to remember my swimmers next time!! Not the easiest hotel to find, but certainly worth the price we paid, as it was lovely.

good facility a little hard to drive toPosted Jun 6, 2015
Pros: size of rooms
Cons: location cannot be helped especially if you are not visiting a hospital patient or having a medical appointment
Location: not much in the local area to do
it was fine once we arrived parking was a problem early because of conferences - room was clean and large and close to the rail station

Would definitely return, great value for money.Posted Apr 27, 2015 on Hotels
Me and my partner stayed for 1 night. The hotel was very nice, the rooms were clean and very comfortable. The room did get quite hot overnight and the windows could not be opened so had to rely on air-conditioning. The Spa was also enjoyable. Good size pool with sauna and steam room (although the Jacuzzi was out of order). Breakfast was delicious with lots to choose from.
